Wow, I may actually have a new fandom or two.

1. So. Leverage. We're all on this page? Right because I'm pretty sure that Alec and Eliot are doing it or will be doing it very shortly. Maybe I will write that. Anybody who says "Somebody please kiss this man so I don't have to" is just biding his time until he DOES get some quality time. Imagine if Gunn and Lindsey spent a whole hour flirting on your telly. Yeah, exactly. WATCH IT!

2. Merlin. Oh fucking kay. Are y'all happy? Seriously, because Merlin is like, like it's some super def blow out type crack. The issue here isn't what to write but where to start. I'm kind of hesitant because I can't fucking figure out how to write it. It's obvously not Ye Olde English, but it's still strangely reserved. Maybe I should I start with the High School Prom AU where Gwen is the beard for Arthur and Merlin and nobody approves, least of all Arthur or Gwen's sekrit boyfriend Lancelot. Actually, the one with the dragon egg baby (I hate you

rageprufrock) seems to be pacing ahead of everything else, maybe I should do the one where Arthur gets turned into a baby dragon. Are we sensing a theme here? Can we have a Help! story where Arthur shrinks to the size of thimble. Oh my god, total sensory overload, and I'm only at the end of episode #4.

3. I am going to create a military/Generation Kill mix. Oh, yes. I just need to rope somebody into doing the cover art.

4. Speaking of the most holy First Recon, I plan to write a Brad/Nate sex story that's all PG. It can be done just ask

sparky77, who's still cursing me out for the sneak preview.

The tone question in Merlin is a really tough one--whether to go as cracky or more so than the show at its silliest, or more serious. I'm tending toward more serious because I'm not very funny, but I think you could go either way and be awesome. And with the story ideas you seem to have, cracky seems like it.

Dude, I totally meant to watch Leverage. Have I missed the first ep?

The first one was last night, but the time period is Tuesday at 10pm, I would assume they're going to re-air it before they do the new episode tomorrow night. Also? SERIOUSLY gay.

As for Merlin, I think I shall be very into the crack end of that show.

Dude. We're not friends or anything but I would fucking kill for a good military mix. Or, you know, make art for it. If you want.

Really, you'd make the art for it? Wicked! It generally takes about 24 hours for me to make a mix I'm pleased with -- I start wide (about 80-100 songs), whittle, add, tweak, add, tweak and then am ready -- so you can give me until around this time tomorrow, I can make the zip and send it to you and you can either make the art then or you can make the art now. I don't have a title yet, but I will soon.

Hoo-rah. My attention span is just too short, I can't make mixes. At least not gone ones. In any case, ivanaref at gmail if you need it, and I'll be at least poking around for inspiration tonight.

slodwick and I did a few for Heroes, which we loved, but GK... I'd been pondering and kept waffling, but today I was like enough, must do1 None of the mix will be from the series, but I think it will good. Of course if I didn't think that I wouldn't even bother.

I'm kind of in awe at the crackiness of Merlin, but in a good way.

Oh thank god it wasn't just me watching Leverage and thinking, 'wow, Eliot is all flirty' I loved the Klingon exchange.

It was priceless. The hair was unfortunate, but I will definitely be watching it tonight.
