I dig Castle and almost picked that, but I really like Lie to Me.

While I love Kings and don't want to see it go, I have to say that Southland seems to be the superior show. Of course, this is only based on 1 episode, so it's subject to change.

I picked Kings because I adore it so, but realize its future is basically nil - so Southland will likely be the show that I obsess about most

Does Leverage count as mid-season?

Also, we are definitely talking more about John Cooper/Gene Hunt because they would everything they did would be so insanely awesome that their awesomeness could like cure cancer and make rainbows and puppies.

Although I've never actually got my head around the concept of 'mid-season replacement' because, as you well know, we don't do that this side of the pond!

Also, I am with Sparky and her wish for some John Cooper/Gene Hunt mashup.

Better Off Ted is a fun one too.

I am pretty enamored with Castle, but I also think The Unusuals could get really good.

I'm amused by this whole Dreamwidth thing. Is this yet another IJ/GJ-type replacement in case of another Strikethrough, or are people really moving en masse?

I choose Kings on the poll, but I'm really excited about more Southland and feel like it might actually get to stick around, hopefully.

I'm intrigued by Dreamwidth. It sounds like it has lots of fun features, but I also enjoy LJ for its use by non-fen (ie ohnotheydidnt—I know it's awful but I can't help myself, and craft/arts comms) and I'd be really reluctant to elave that. I didn't get an IJ or whatever during the last big uproar (or maybe I did?) so I doubt I'd be willing to leave.

I wish I could fangirl on the mid-season replacements but my television suffered a minor internal explosion (dude, there was smoke. and sparks) and I can't afford to replace it so I'm just watching what I can on shoddy stolen internet.

I should add that I have an OpenId, and that from there we'll see what happens.

One thing I like about Dreamwidth (past all the other nifty features) is that it will allow for easy cross-posting, which is why I'll probably get that and keep my LJ. Why yes, I do like to have my cake and eat it, too. *g*
