I was going to talk about my new found love and appreciation for all things NCIS. Really, can I get a Gibbs? Baring that, some really hot Gibbs porn. And then I was going to ask where the hell is all the Kirk/McCoy and can we not have people crying or being broken or whatever, but doing what they do best? Namely, being snarky and hot as fuck. Or possibly, I was going to see if I could get some of you snitches to make me beer icons. BUT. That has all been pushed aside, because apparently Michael Cudlitz (Cooper to you lot) is friends with FUCKING DONNIE WAHLBERG. ETA: I'd forgotten that they did Band of Brothers together, which again, goes to show that EVERYBODY was in that series and it's my favorite for a reason. I love that they're still in touch almost ten years later. Seriously, if you haven't seen BoB, this is The Offical hackthis Boot (TM) of GET THE FUCK ON THAT.

Please don't make me embarass myself. Seriously though, it also turns out that Michael's son wants to make his own throwing stars. And a crossbow. He's a total ninja baby. I love the hell out of archery myself, and would not object to the throwing stars, but that's not my kid, so...

Oh, so you watch it, but you give me shit for watching it?! *coughhypocrisycough* I didn't say it was good, I said it was *entertaining*. And new. When was the last time I had good new TV? Apart from Southland? Yeah, exactly, Generation Kill last summer. I don't have any other reference for the actors, although I did see Weatherly on a soap when we were in high school.

My stepmother watches it, so I have seen several episodes in the last couple of weeks (I have seen quite a few CSI of various denominations as well. OY). It's good?? I am not sure I agree with that. I maintain that I prefer Mark Harmon when he shows emotion. David Caruso can do cheesy stoicness, but Mark Harmon is better when he's being somewhat charming and human.

Michael Weatherly was on Dark Angel, where he was hot as blazes. god knows what he was thinking when he dated Jessica Alba. I gave him a pass for a while on that because he was so hot. The chick who played Dawson's sister was on there for a while (god, why do I KNOW these things--that's worse than remembering Jensen Ackles when he was Eric Brady for god's sake, at least I have a good reason for that one) but anyway, they killed her off.

I know what I'm talking about! And I maintain it's all the narcotics fault. But if it makes you happy, go for it.

I started watching NCIS because of my dad. He was in the navy and got hooked on JAG. NCIS was sort of a JAG spin-off.

Inorite! That really is the kind of thing that just makes you smile like an idiot. He's (Michael) also still friends with Dexter Fletcher (Martin) and this makes me smile like a derranged fool and I don't care. I can just imagine what filming BoB was like in terms of experience. I think that kind of endurance and shared experience makes fast friends.

And yes to the chart! I would totally do that, but then I'd probably get insanely sidetracked, because every fucking person known to man's in it. Which would require my commentary. And pictures. And possibly stick figure diagrams.
