Last week, Michael Cudlitz and Ben McKenzie went to the race track to get ready for the start of S2 Southland filming. ROWR. Yesterday, they went to the gun range. Michael. Ben. I, um, this needs porn.

She manages to transport you into her world with just a few sentences, make you feel everything acutely without overselling anything. Everything she does just feels so damn natural. I think I forgot to say this before, but I loved your Deniro fic. I was hesitant to read it at first because I thought if it parelleled the show it might be too dark and angsty for my taste but I finally decided that you're such an awesome author I would be brave, and what do ya know now it's one my favorite fics.

I actually thought it was kinda schmoopy, which is not a word I would regularly use to describe your writing. I especially adored Cooper's random use of the word Boo and how he would say it under the guise of being snarky except not.

The point is, it actually convinced me to give the show another shot so I'm definitely gonna be tuning in for Season 2.

darnit... i need a southland icon, apparently. i'm so excited "southland" is coming back for season 2. i'm all aflutter about the prospect of an entire season of episodes. (and is it my imagination or does michael cudlitz look even more awesome in those twitter pics than he did last season? he looks thinner but more muscular, yeah? those freaking cop arms...)
