The Hotass State?

Subsequent to my last post, [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma, [livejournal.com profile] sparky77 and I have been wondering what exactly is in the water in Texas to make the ratio of hotass so high?

As far as the three of us are aware:

- Ben McKenzie (Austin)*
- Matt Bomer (Houston)
- Lee Pace (Houston)
- Jensen Ackles (Richardson)
- Jared Padalecki (San Antonio)**

are all from Texas.

So, we come to you to ask, who else? What other hotassery is from Texas?

You got pictures? Bring'em.

Also, please provide hometowns as well since we need to know if a sabbatical is in order and whether or not we need tasers and zipties or just some good old fashioned rope and cleavage.

*[livejournal.com profile] sparky77 has informed me that Austin is not Texas.** I was... not aware of this. Is this like when that Congressman said Texas was going to scede from the US? [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma believes some people might take offense to this, but does not necessarily disagree. Much in the same way that Northern VA is not like the rest of VA.

**I have been informed that people from San Antonio are "weird" and/or "insane." [livejournal.com profile] sparky77 says there's really awesome BBQ there though.

From ten years of living in the Plano zip code, I can tell you what's in the damn water here. Algae. Every summer, Lake Lavon gets low (no rain, lots of people using water) and the lake levels bloom. Technical term, that, algae bloom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algae_bloom) (Wikipedia link since I was still on Tudyk's page). It means the water tastes green. Is green, actually. Feel free to say eww at this point. No, really.

Every August they send a little two page insert with our water bill that says, "Yes, it tastes funny. It's still safe." Me, I'd rather they spend those dollars on a filter at the pipe intake or something, but instead I just replace the water filter in my home and grimace as I brush my teeth.

Still, better than Galveston where I grew up.
