1. VH1 Soul? My new favorite digital channel. They play the good stuff: Gang Starr! Slum Village! The Roots! AHHHHHHHHHH! I’m bitter that I had to give up MTV2 to get it though.

2. I was going to write out a why I adore my friends list thing, but everybody fell into two camps ‘insane, yet talented’ or ‘talented, yet insane.’ Ergo, you’re all insanely talented and that’s why I adore you. Cool?

3. I can’t make art like slodwick or icons like rosenho, but I can write (ok, that's debatable, but anyway).

So, here’s my gift to you: you tell me what you want: fandom, pairing (no Lana damnit!), scene (if so desired) and I’ll write a drabble for you.

That's just one of the best movies ever. Although the box at our video store says unrated, so I was watching it (alone, thank god, not with my mother) and then all of a sudden it was like, oh, look, Ewan!penis. And only then did I go online and find out that its US rating was NC-17.

The back of Lex’s head rests lightly on Clark’s forearm. Clark thinks it should feel heavier.

Lex’s breathing is shallow, and Clark thinks it should be deeper. The last time they were like this, it wasn’t any easier.

The accidents and concussions never get any easier to deal with.

Clark can’t keep doing this. They can’t keep doing this.

Lex is too important to Clark; he can’t let Lex keep jeopardizing himself. There has to be an easier way to get close to Lex. There has to be another way to keep him safe. Love shouldn’t cause so much pain.

Up All Night


The villagers cries grow louder, and never before has Mystique felt this kind of fear.

She tightens the grip on her burden, glancing down briefly. Even in the dark Kurt’s eyes are luminous, and when he blinks, Mystique feels like the proverbial deer caught in the headlamps. He’s her first born. Still so small, but he’s blue, and that makes him an unacceptable risk.

His tiny tail brushes against her ribs, and she feels something suspiciously maternal trying to gnaw its way into her psyche.

Doing this will hurt her more than him. She loves him. In her own way.



Notes: In case you didn’t know, in canon Mystique and Sabretooth are Kurt’s parents. However, when the villagers near where they’re living find out about Kurt, they hunt Mystique down and she tosses him into the river to save herself. That’s love. Not.
