Over in her LJ,

scribblinlenore mentioned being stuck indoors for a blizzard and how she thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some time getting to know some of the new people on my flist. Which I whole-heartedly agree.

So...tell me something about you. Favorite character. Favorite food. Something funny you do. Whatever you like. Just make it something that gives me a sense of who you are.

There's no pressure to participate, of course. If you'd rather just lurk, that's fine, too. But if you feel like coming out of the woodwork, I'd love to hear from you!

I think I do this like once a year and since I'm feeling a bit sour, and this exercise always makes me smile, I'll start...

1. I drink like six glasses of water a day,
2. I still read Smallville stories even though I don't watch the show anymore.
3. I love potatoes.
4. I love turtles; I plan to buy one as soon as I can afford the damn terrarium.
5. I think I would rather be blind than deaf since I can't imagine not listening to music.

Every time I give blood I end up passing out.

You are a truly a selfless person. I used to give blood all the time until the Red Cross said I couldn't lest I give someone Mad Cow, which is just fucking mental. I may *be* a mad cow, but still.

When I'm on the phone with my sister and we say 'goodbye' I raise my hand to wave 'goodbye'. I haven't been able to stop this.

The very first fic I ever read was a disturbing graphic NC-17 Kira/Odo squick-fic. It was 1994, and I was 11.
