scribblinlenore mentioned being stuck indoors for a blizzard and how she thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some time getting to know some of the new people on my flist. Which I whole-heartedly agree.

So...tell me something about you. Favorite character. Favorite food. Something funny you do. Whatever you like. Just make it something that gives me a sense of who you are.

I think I do this like once a year and since I'm feeling a bit sour, and this exercise always makes me smile, I'll start...

I would rather be deaf than blind, I can't imagine not reading!

I read stories in over 15 fandoms, and I watch none of them regularly and *have* watched only 2 of the series in the past (and now own the DVDs).

I love sharks, I used to work in an aquarium and helped feed them, they are the most beautiful creatures and much misunderstood.

I'm terrified of drowning or suffocating in any way.

I work in a health shop but am constitutionally unable to remember to take any supplements for more than 2 weeks in a row!

1. I carry a pink and silver kolomboi (Greek worry/counting bead things) and I fiddle with it constantly, like a secular rosary or a socially acceptable security blanket. Everyone who knows me entertains fantasies of throwing the damn thing over a cliff.

I live in mortal terror of being shit on by birds. I have to wear something with a hood whenever I'm outside, because I'd far rather get bird poop on the hood of a bunnyhug than on my head.

1. I have double jointed knees. Meaning I stand with my knees locked back and people are always telling me I look like a horse. Or like I have two broken legs. Uh, no, thats just my legs guys. K?

2. I can speak about three sentences of Irish Gaelic which passes for speaking another language at home because my family just kind of throws the phrases in there and stuff. I can basically say, I love you, I'm hungry, shut up and Happy St. Patrick's day. Mostly I do it on the phone in public places cause its fun and confuses people.

3. My Aunt lived on a farm in Vermont where most most of the outside scenes for "The Cider House Rules," were filmed and she had a llama named Fleetwood Mac. He was a guard llama who kept the sheep safe from Coyotes. Serious. He bit me once. Fricking llamas.

1. I love to make huge houses on the Sims and have my inept little computer friends burn them to the ground.

1/I really got motivated to learn English when I discovered yaoi fictions on the Internet
