Over in her LJ,

scribblinlenore mentioned being stuck indoors for a blizzard and how she thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some time getting to know some of the new people on my flist. Which I whole-heartedly agree.

So...tell me something about you. Favorite character. Favorite food. Something funny you do. Whatever you like. Just make it something that gives me a sense of who you are.

There's no pressure to participate, of course. If you'd rather just lurk, that's fine, too. But if you feel like coming out of the woodwork, I'd love to hear from you!

I think I do this like once a year and since I'm feeling a bit sour, and this exercise always makes me smile, I'll start...

1. I drink like six glasses of water a day,
2. I still read Smallville stories even though I don't watch the show anymore.
3. I love potatoes.
4. I love turtles; I plan to buy one as soon as I can afford the damn terrarium.
5. I think I would rather be blind than deaf since I can't imagine not listening to music.

**ETN: I meant to mention this ages ago, but the LJPTB are reimbursing paid users an additional two weeks of time due to last week's outage or shortage or whatever it's being called. 1. Lyrics or quotes tend to pop into my head in response to most situations.
b. I rarely ever type/say them out loud, for people would think I'm even er...quirkier than I am.

2. I am now writing a squick that even squicks me, because it's kind of fun to squirm.

3. I lurve my cats, heh, sorry. I rarely ever call them by their given names anymore, instead going by a string of odd, silly nicknames like "muffin!toes".

4. I am overly fascinated by shiny/glittery things, and they can cheer me up at the worst times.
b. I have sparkly bat ponytail holders that I wear with my hair in pigtails when I'm in an odd mood. I'm usually wearing them when I write the smutty things, so I now refer to them as the "the pigtails of porn".

5. I hate being put under for operations or things, the loss of control and consciousness terrifies me. I generally don't like taking any sort of strong drug for the similar reasons.
