Speaking of dark and inappropriate humour, Nip/Tuck premieres tonight and all I can say is: do not fucking miss the first five minutes, or the eighty-five minutes after it either. God, that show – craziness, man. I was sputtering the whole time.

Woman Like a Man
Lee is breathing on Dee, and it's making it difficult for her to focus.
Frak difficult -- right now, Lee Adama is making Dee's life frakking impossible, and Dee doesn't want this, because she's known men like Apollo all her life, and -- and
Lee's breath is hot, and his body is warm and slippery. There are all these people around them, watching, waiting, and it's almost obscene that he's breathing on her and touching her in front of them.
He's dressed, she's dressed, but Dee feels more naked with Lee touching her exposed shoulder than she would if they were actually naked together in the communal showers. Her skin burns under his fingers, and the heat ripples under her skin, warming her in places that aren't supposed to be warm right now.
Lee's breath is washing over her ear and her neck, and if she shudders he'll feel it, and that's not something she's interested in exploring at this particular juncture. Dee has known Lee for so long that the idea of them together is inexplicably strange and hazy, like trying to remember the color of her bedroom walls back home. White. No, gray. Blue?
She bites back a smile because this is no time for smiling. Training is a grave, serious matter, and Dee shouldn't be getting turned on by Apollo. She knows better. She has to know better, because people already have expectations of she and Billy, and Lee, Lee doesn't fit into that equation.
Except that Lee's just as good and capable as Billy, and Billy –-
No, to compare the two does a disservice to both, and when Lee slams her on her back, Dee spins completely off her axis. She was thinking. She was thinking about Billy, who is good and kind, and smart, and Lee -- Lee is strong and physical, and there. Lee is right above her, smiling, grinning, his eyes roving her face to make certain he didn't do damage to anything except her pride.
Billy would never slam Dee on a mat.
Billy would never do anything that might injure Dee or even cause her moderate discomfort. Even when they're frakking, Billy is cautious and questioning. He's tentative and solicitous, and Lords of Kobol, Dee wants more. She wants to feel alive; Dee wants the soreness and the exhaustion. She wants to feel worn out and used and spent.
Billy thinks she's as fragile as he is, but she's not -- and no one treats Dee quite like Lee does. He treats her like he treats Starbuck, and Dee doesn't get a lot of that. People think that because she works on the bridge, she can't hold her own, but she can, and she does, and Billy –- Billy apologizes if he kisses her too hard.
Dee doesn't want that.
Dee wants calluses and scrapes, and Lee's hands are on her, grabbing her, lifting and pulling, leaving marks. Lee's not even that close -– not like before when he was touching her and moving her, but he's so much more solid than Billy is.
Lee makes her feel alive, and she's missed that for so long, she'd almost forgotten what it was like. When Billy touches her, she feels his apprehension, she can feel his concern, but Lee is all confidence and assuredness. He's all capability, and even when he's falling apart, he holds it together; he's so much like his father that it's just amazing.
If this were 30 years ago, Dee would probably have a crush on the Commander instead of his son, but that's not how this has played out, and perhaps that may be the most criminal activity of them all -– that Dee wants Lee. She wants him breathing on her and with her and above her. Dee wants to know what makes Lee's breath catch. Maybe Dee should be locked away for such covetous behaviour, or maybe Lee should be locked away for making Dee want something apart from what she has -- but he has, and she does.
Dee wants, and she never has this problem when she's with Billy. It makes something churn in her stomach, and she feels bad, because she likes Billy, she enjoys spending time with him, but Billy's a boy, and Lee –- Lee is all man.
-end-
