The spaceship has landed!!!

To get everyone back on track with items of real importance:

TomKat has had the baby!

I've been told it's a girl, and her name is Suri.

ETA: Thank you People magazine for confirming what I already know. Also, uh, my friend just sent me this, to you know, check on the timeline and stuff.

Re icon: Happy endings are only happy until you close the book and then it all gets shot to hell. What cynicism?

Word.

And sometimes, writers think they are making a good love story but in fact it's complete crap and they should get rid of one of the characters completely.

Poor, poor Suri.

So do you think Katie a) used painkilling drugs and b) screamed? Because I would hate it for Tom to have to fuck around with the tents of his absurd faith.

Not.

[identity profile] elzed.livejournal.com 2006-04-19 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Aaand that would be tenets. Thank you.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-04-19 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno, the tents thing was pretty interesting. They do actually have Scientology tents on his film sets, did you hear about that?

[identity profile] thepouncer.livejournal.com 2006-04-18 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope to god Katie takes the spawn and runs. Far, far away from him. *shudder*

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-04-19 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you know, we'll see what happens won't we? ;)

[identity profile] metal-dog5.livejournal.com 2006-04-18 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank goodness the adoption finally went through. Katie can finally stop wearing that pillow. But Suri? Well, I suppose if they didn't know the sex of the child it was a good unisex pick.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-04-19 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
I like it; I don't see it fitting so much with Cruise or Holmes, but the name on its own is lovely. Suri Cruise. Sounds like a holiday cruise.

You took the words right out of my MSN conversation.

It's a girl? Damn. Guess I can't joke around it's the reincarnation of L. Ron Hubbard.

Or can I...?

Suri Cruise? I feel there's a pun or something in there that I just don't get yet.

Surprised they didn't name her "Hubbard" or "Dyan-Ettix."

[identity profile] veradeath.livejournal.com 2006-04-19 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, that poor spawn. My head hurts now.

This is reallllllly creepy liek woah.

To quote some other forum, it's a 'a 1.5 pound, 14-inch bouncing baby bolster with blue buttons and tassels on both ends.' ;)
