REPOST: Musak Friday!

This is my October Frankenstein Mix. Normally, all my songs come with little tidbits about what they mean to me, or what I think of the artists, or some sort of factual information about said artist, but this time I felt like seeing what you thought without my impressions. So, here they are, take what you will, please fill out the poll about what you took, and later, if you want, come back and comment and tell me what you think.

Grabbed all the files I didn't have (all but three) filled out the poll, etc. Listening to Lily Allen right now, and loving it a lot.

Unrelated to Frankenmix: I first listened to Matt nathanson after the scene in Telgraph Avenue where Ryan and Seth go to one of his shows. I just got back from seeing my first MN show.

THANK YOU.

MATT! Did you enjoy it? Isn't he fabulous? I so heart Matt. What stories did he tell?

My god, so good! Among other things, he called our crowd a bar mitzvah, he talked about donkey punching, he told us about getting cheated on by one girl with seven different people ("This song is about true love... times seven. Damn.), and read us erotica as an apology for playing new material.

I DID NOT MIND AT ALL.

I sort of wanted to touch his hair? I wonder how it gets that messy.

He was extremely reluctant to play 'Laid', because he figured that everyone would leave afterward. They didn't. He decided to kidnap several girls int he crowd and take them to Utah, where they could be 'ooooold mormons'. After playing with a full band, he came back for a few songs solo.

Faaaaaaabulous. I wanted to make him shower, then take him home to be my Constant Companion.
