We're a happy family.

So... ::rubs hands together::

a. Theodore is back from holiday, and we've, uh, had some talks. There won't be two more sections of Thousandth Man, there will only be one.

b. Comm reccs of the day: [livejournal.com profile] oceanfic for your Ocean's 11 fic needs (there's some really great stuff here), [livejournal.com profile] aurgasm* for music and [livejournal.com profile] pimpicons** for well, icons WTF, can't you read?

c. [livejournal.com profile] nifra_idril proclaimed today Tell Someone You Heart Them Day and I was all, 'well, sheeet, are you lot feeling under-appreciated or summat?' Cos you know I think you're all fabulous, really. If you're feeling needy, drop me a comment and I will either profess my adoration or write you a wee drabbley thing. I think. Wait, this is how I wound up writing 45 drabbles two years ago. Uh, no. Okay, first twelve people get love or a drabble.

Good Omens 1, 2; Smallville 1; Greek Mythology 1; This Life 1; Lost 1; Harry Potter 1 (H/D); due South 1

d. So, why didn't anybody tell me about 24 before? Damn, talk about cracktastic. What's the Jack/Ronnie story?

e. Cookies for all the people who know what brilliant show [livejournal.com profile] tarar based my default icon on. I was going to write some HP porn, but now I don't know. Somebody needs to get laid. Jesus, I just thought about Crowley trying to explain to Aziraphale why lust is considered a sin and then Aziraphale was all 'you don't hear people screaming Satan when they orgasm, do you?'*** It was v funny in my head at any rate.

*ding ding, [livejournal.com profile] tarar, [livejournal.com profile] applyingmyself and [livejournal.com profile] qe2

**gacked from the lovely [livejournal.com profile] silverakira

***Not that Aziraphale had much experience with what humans shouted when they climaxed, but he'd been around for a long time and he'd read a few tawdry romance novels in his day. None of them by Barbara Cartland though.

What with the who now?

[identity profile] plumsnickety.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I was just all a-squee over happygood BSG stuff, and then I read this:

Jesus, I just thought about Crowley trying to explain to Aziraphale why lust is considered a sin and then Aziraphale was all 'you don't hear people screaming, Satan when they orgasm, do you?'

*sporffle*

Oh, that's just wonderfully evil and logic of the angel. Damn him. I'm sure it's going to be one of those thoughts that pops up in the middle of traffic or an important meeting and I can't help laughing till I pull a muscle. So, really, thanks in advance for my future injuries. *g*

Ooooh. I will take love or a drabble. If you go with drabble--hmm. Clark/Lex, please? Something non-rifty? *g* I'm good with either.

Also, 24 is brilliant and this year has maybe the best start I've ever seen. MADDY is there. *bounces*

Also, Ronnie was never on before this season, so he and Jack had just met. *sniffles* Theirlovehadnotime.

[livejournal.com profile] aurgasm for your musical exploration.

[identity profile] askmehow.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Drabble? Please? *looks winning* Write the Good Omens thing, it's already making me giggle. Aziraphale, romance novels? Really? For shame, man!

[identity profile] jonem.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Eek! If I tell you I heart you (which, you being you, I do), do I get a drabble/love?

Not that's it's necessary, because I really do love you, you precious, lovely, talented hackwriter-you. You've made fandom a better place.

ext_6533: (Great. You just flooded Norway. -Crantz)

[identity profile] greenet.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
*snickers at the good omens bit* Of course not Cartland, nope. What about those, um, booklets they used to sell? The serials? I bet he read some of those.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
At it's inception sex was a good and pure thing, so Aziraphale suspects that it was humans that made it tawdry and degrading. It's also entirely possibly that the tawdry and degrading portions are what make sex so interesting, but as Aziraphale is asexual (1) this is really of no concern to him. (2)

(1) Asexual only as far as his being homosexual.
(2) No concern only as far his inability to participate. Angels and humans are not mean to interact sexually together as angels are not suceptible to such thing as lust. Except occasionally, and then only when scones are involved. This not not, however, preclude angel and demon interaction.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
What no Ronnie before this? But their love seemed so angsty and I'm-on-top! Nuts.

[identity profile] thepouncer.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Drabble! Drabble! The O.C., X-Men, Lost, Greek mythology, and Lex Luthor all appreciated. And seeing that you have Clive Owen as an interest, anything Croupier-related.

[identity profile] d-copper.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I second that! (I hope that doesn't take up another drabble *crosses fingers*)

[identity profile] jonem.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
And on the subject of drabbles? This Life *needs* more Miles/Warren. Though Anna in any situation would be adored. *Sends more hearts*.

[identity profile] velutlunas.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
*slips in quick as she can* I would love a hurley drabble from Lost. Kudos to doing something about him being a halo god and not being able to handle real blood.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
For you, I will do both. a) You are fabulously talented, and I feel horribly remiss for not telling you all the time how enamoured I am of your writing. I am also truly touched by the time and effort and love you have for the Smallville fandom. It takes a person with a great heart to do what you do, and I am in awe.

b) Despite whatever nonsense his father believes and promotes, Lex likes to think of himself as a rock of emotional stoicism. He is a fortress, impenetrable and impervious to pain and heartache and other vile things that bring lesser men down -- except there are little things that make Lex feel weak and human. Like the way Clark Kent smiles at him when Lex enters the room or the way Lex's heart quivers in his chest when Clark looks at him over his shoulder to make sure that Lex is by his side.

Lex has always thought that it's the big things that make the man, but now he's not so certain, because it's all the little things about Clark Kent that are stealing his heart.

Do you know where this is from young lady ;)

[identity profile] anandangel.livejournal.com 2005-01-11 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
If there are drabbles to be had, I'm in. HP-anything.

If you get tired..... I love you just for offering.

[identity profile] serialkarma.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Can I have a drabble, even though I'm not in the first twelve, on account of having had a craptastic, life-changing day yesterday and also just being me? *bats eyelashes*

[identity profile] velutlunas.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
and damnit, somehow I managed to get all ahead of myself and not offer you a heart for even just saying you'd do something like this. Cause yea. I'm looking forward to the finale of the thousandthman but at the same time I don't think my interest will be waning anytime soon. Thanks so much you.

[identity profile] tanizard.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
If there's still any drabbles going spare, could I get a Remus/Severus from you? I know you said you didn't really feel right writing the pairing...and, uh, I'm also not actually on your friendslist, you're just on mine...eep. Well, on the off-chance that you say 'yes' to a drabble, I could go for either Remus/Severus or Sean/Nick (The Forsaken) (stop looking at me like that.)

[identity profile] silverakira.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Seeing as I just got a fic, I would feel greedy asking for either a drabble or love. It just makes me happy that I introduced you to teh pretteh. [grin]

And eeee, music!

[identity profile] sundaysunday.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
PFF. I bring the musical exploration to the rest of y'all, I don't need some wack LJ community to help me out there.

;)

This Life

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Miles didn't see it, but Anna did. Warren was going out all the time, shagging whomever whenever and spending less time at home. Not that Warren had ever been home much; he wasn't one to let dust or moss or whatever it was grow underneath his feet or his bum. The point being that Warren was shagging all these blokes and making all these excuses not to be home at night whe Miles was with Delilah, not that Anna could blame Warren because Delilah either deserved a BAFTA for her acting or a visit to Soho to have a real shag. Either way about it, listening to Miles with someone else was nerve-wracking, but at least Warren had found a way to pretend he wasn't hurt by it as well.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
Pfft. Beware the ego of [livejournal.com profile] applyingmyself for it is large and could crush cities ;)
