a. Theodore is back from holiday, and we've, uh, had some talks. There won't be two more sections of Thousandth Man, there will only be one.

b. Comm reccs of the day: oceanfic for your Ocean's 11 fic needs (there's some really great stuff here), aurgasm* for music and pimpicons** for well, icons WTF, can't you read?

c. nifra_idril proclaimed today Tell Someone You Heart Them Day and I was all, 'well, sheeet, are you lot feeling under-appreciated or summat?' Cos you know I think you're all fabulous, really. If you're feeling needy, drop me a comment and I will either profess my adoration or write you a wee drabbley thing. I think. Wait, this is how I wound up writing 45 drabbles two years ago. Uh, no. Okay, first twelve people get love or a drabble.

Jesus, I just thought about Crowley trying to explain to Aziraphale why lust is considered a sin and then Aziraphale was all 'you don't hear people screaming Satan when they orgasm, do you?'*** It was v funny in my head at any rate.

***Not that Aziraphale had much experience with what humans shouted when they climaxed, but he'd been around for a long time and he'd read a few tawdry romance novels in his day. None of them by Barbara Cartland though.

For you, I will do both. a) You are fabulously talented, and I feel horribly remiss for not telling you all the time how enamoured I am of your writing. I am also truly touched by the time and effort and love you have for the Smallville fandom. It takes a person with a great heart to do what you do, and I am in awe.

b) Despite whatever nonsense his father believes and promotes, Lex likes to think of himself as a rock of emotional stoicism. He is a fortress, impenetrable and impervious to pain and heartache and other vile things that bring lesser men down -- except there are little things that make Lex feel weak and human. Like the way Clark Kent smiles at him when Lex enters the room or the way Lex's heart quivers in his chest when Clark looks at him over his shoulder to make sure that Lex is by his side.

Lex has always thought that it's the big things that make the man, but now he's not so certain, because it's all the little things about Clark Kent that are stealing his heart.

*bounces* You gave me both! God, that's a beautiful drabble--great last line, and the *lookinnnnnnggg* *sighs happily*. I just adore your writing.

And--thanks for the love too, because yes--I've been in a really different (stuck/annoyed) place with a lot of my writing lately so the words are having a bit of a balm-type effect. *hugs*
