Desperate times and all that.

I have no words to describe my boredom right now. I have no words to describe anything. I'm at the stalemate, and I'm tempted to do that Give me a prompt and I'll write you a two-line story for it.

Yeah, alright, hit me. First fifteen in the door get the prize.* Anything I've already written before is game, no Hermione. Look, I'll even show you how it goes. Example: Request: SGA, Sheppard/McKay (which, um, you could request too even though I don't watch the show)

"So, McKay, what's all this UST business?" Sheppard did that thing he did with his mouth when he was trying to play smart. Rodney wasn’t fooled. "Is it a new strand of the ATA gene?"

"It stands for Unresolved Sexual Tension, Major."

"Lieutenant Colonel."

"Please," Rodney scoffed. "With all this tension I could call you Susan, and you wouldn't care."

"What tension?"

"The sexual tension between us."

"What sexual tension between us?"

"See, that's why it's unresolved! Because you can't admit it's there!"*

*If you're late, you might be able to bribe me with music. I'm partial to Eric B and Rakim, Tom Jones, New Edition, Doug E Fresh and the Get Fresh Crew.

***Okay, that was about ten lines too long, but [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma is feeling poorly, so I'm being nice.

ETA: OKAY, offer closed!

I'm emailing you a MP3 in payment.

I wish more writers I like (like you) wrote Prison Break!

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-01-09 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Alas my darling, my entire desire to watch Prison Break started and ended with Blaise. He's on it, but I cannae watch as it makes me all tense. I just keep thinking Blaise!Blaise!Blaise. Right, everwood was it?

Bright is a good driver, a fantastic driver. He has to be a better driver than the city boy, because Ephram just isn't cut out for driving at all. He's from frigging New York, and everyone knows that nobody drives in New York. Bright's seen the movies, and he tells Ephram this every chance he gets. And since they're driving cross country, Bright gets to tell him this a lot. He tells Ephram his driving sucks in the flats of Kansas and the cornfields of Iowa, he tells Ephram this at gas stations and really cheap motels. Bright tells Ephram this as much as possible, because anything has to be better than begging Ephram to turn the U-Haul around and take then them home. Anything has to be better than Bright asking Ephram not to leave him once again, so instead Bright bitches about Ephram's driving and Ephram, well, he just smiles and tells Bright to shut up.

Okay, I am loving this mp3. Who is this? Where can I get more? It has no name! I will pimp it if I like more, do you get a percentage?

The band is called "What Made Milwaukee Famous" and I saw it on an email list I get from Insound.com. I did a little sesarch for some online MP3s because I liked the name. I have two more that I found. I'll send them. The one I sent you is my favorite though.
