Munchkins,

I require music. Help me out?

* Kelis - Caught Out There
* M.I.A. - Galang
* George Clinton & P Funk - Atomic Dog
* Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
* Gorillaz - Bill Murray
* Mawglee - Any song that's not 'Dreaming' (I already have that one)
* Any live Radiohead, Verve, Gomez, Elbow or Zero 7
* Some classical would be nice too, but I only know what [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis gives me, which is mainly Schubert and Chopin. Oh, and I like Philip Glass. I think. *shrugs*

Ta,
Me

ETA: I have everything! I adore you all.

*goes off to listen to George Clinton*

More uploading now, ysi's just being kind of slow.

Music is to be shared!

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
*dies laughing* I ask in public so that the music can be shared. Or so that I can't be mocked. Depends on whatever I'm doing at the time. :D I have lots of Bowie, but thank you, as for Weezer, hmmm. Hash Pipe perhaps.

[identity profile] tehlils.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, 7,751 to be exact, not including iTunes purchased music or podcasts.

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
You ahv this live? How did you do that! *marvels*

Thanks you :D

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
*Does happy dance*

*not to be confused with spasmic Thom dancing, which looks as though it could give you whiplash**

[identity profile] jennyagain.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
... or possibly i should actually read your requests before thinking "oh, i have that!"

More classical...

Mozart's Allegro (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik) (http://s10.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1LF5GA7A63SBT2M7AT9V3IAUNW)

Debussy's Clair de Lune (http://s10.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2JBXVTKCMDHMA2LXR2RY977SXQ)

Saint-Saen - Dance Macabre (http://s10.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2451FEXVI6X9P3GT8ZG9P95SO7)

Rachmaninoff's Prelude in G Major OP 23 No 5 (http://d10.yousendit.com/E/1FPG19UD4T3Z023S7VRRAOLM7C)

These are all from a cheap CD I bought called 'Cocktail Party Classics'. I liked the cover art - very vector-ish. XD

Poor thing. *pets* It's the thought that counts :)

Since I snag music out of the comments here so often, I thought I'd give back:

Lamentation of Jeremiah (http://s51.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1V6E21ZE2VB6E3N7F2XHXMC2DQ) (recording of a choir I was in)

Erlkonig by Schubert (http://s51.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0W45EJBJYEJM72OVVNUL99UO94) (I adore the opening piano line on this.)

Prelude to Tristan und Isolde by Wagner (http://s51.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=30CB80VRJ1NE4171FYGHXHI24L) (from the opera, not from the movie)

Le Sacre du Printemps Part 1: The dance of the young girls by Stravinsky (http://s51.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2BF3ERSGGHSXZ1R4MRCSLEA1UO) (remember the bit with the dinosaurs and all in Fantasia? That was Le Sacre du Printemps.)

Thank you! :)

philip glass - candyman. (http://s32.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1GCWV7XCMIF1436GWOFEXA6U1V)

i also have many a classical type music. eric satie, zola van, samuel barber, andre rieu, sergei rachmaninov, schbert as well as scores from films and tv shows (like buffy/angel [i'm much with the christophe beck love], the village and even casper). i can upload as many as you'd like, but i'm on dial-up at the mo, so if you can stand the waiting i don't mind the up loading. :)

Thinking About You, unplugged (http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3USBHPXFCSYI63KIWNCQW1HGF0)

I will upload more in the morning, but YSI is being ridiculously slow now.

[identity profile] jennyagain.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
ok, so you've crossed off wanting any more classical goodness, but i feel like i need to make up for my earlier idiocy, so, humbly, may i present: faure's pavane (http://s39.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1QRT1XBZMB70O0IO78VPZX90V1)

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
I know the horrors of dial-up, so don't trouble yourself, but thank you so much for this :)

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you so much for this. I appreciate it SO much :)

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
There is always room for Jell-o music :)

[identity profile] nippa56.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
you're welcome! i'm always happy to spread the music love. :)

Brahms - Hungarian Dances #5 (http://s17.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0GX602ROO3N753NUT883JJ7ZKO)

Sibelius - Finlandia (http://s17.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3GHET3QCOB0YA07AWXPGFUDKU0)

Okay, bugger doing it via YSI - it'll take too long. I've set up a folder, here (http://oxoniensis-art.com/cm/), and I'm uploading a whole load of random classical music (Bartok, Nyman, Liszt, William Walton, Handel, Nielson, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Stravinsky, Debussy, Bruch, Mendelssohn, Copland, Faure, Rimski-Korsakov, John Cage, Bach, Khachaturian etc). Anyone's welcome to help themselves - they should all be up in a couple of hours or so, and I'll take the folder down in a day or two. And now I'm off to bed. Enjoy!

And look, another Izzie icon! *g*

Should I assume that you have the live version of Like Spinning Plates from the EP? Because if not, you MUST HAVE IT! It's brilliant. So if you don't, let me know and I'll upload it tomorrow. I also have Treefingers, No Surprises and Sail to the Moon live, if you want any of those.

Has Pipe (http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=26WJ1TZLDZ75P2VJOJHBG4774G)

I just thought I should say something... it's supposed to be rude to dl from links without saying anything, no? *g*

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
I want like Spinning Plates, yis :) Also, Sail to the Moon would rock.

*adores madly*

Re: Music is to be shared!

[identity profile] hackthis.livejournal.com 2006-02-07 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno. I consider being told that someone DLs from me a courtesy; it's nice and stuff, but why are they there if not to be downloaded? This is not like taking icons without asking though, that's a bit rude. It's certainly not on par with putting babies on spike and plagarising someone's stories or icons. That's just a death wish.

Aw, thank you!
