Munchkins,
I require music. Help me out?
* Kelis - Caught Out There
* M.I.A. - Galang
* George Clinton & P Funk - Atomic Dog
* Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
* Gorillaz - Bill Murray
* Mawglee - Any song that's not 'Dreaming' (I already have that one)
* Any live Radiohead, Verve, Gomez, Elbow or Zero 7
* Some classical would be nice too, but I only know what
oxoniensis gives me, which is mainly Schubert and Chopin. Oh, and I like Philip Glass. I think. *shrugs*
Ta,
Me
ETA: I have everything! I adore you all.

Date: 2006-02-06 11:45 pm (UTC)Also, my favorite cello piece... I wouldn't be surprised if it was familiar from tons of movie soundtracks, I know it was in Music of the Heart and You Can Count On Me off the top of my head, so it's definitely popular. This part is just the prelude, but there are numerous other parts (movements) to this particular suite.

My tastes are somewhat mainstream, but I like that one.

Okay, bugger doing it via YSI - it'll take too long. I've set up a folder, here (http://oxoniensis-art.com/cm/), and I'm uploading a whole load of random classical music (Bartok, Nyman, Liszt, William Walton, Handel, Nielson, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Stravinsky, Debussy, Bruch, Mendelssohn, Copland, Faure, Rimski-Korsakov, John Cage, Bach, Khachaturian etc). Anyone's welcome to help themselves - they should all be up in a couple of hours or so, and I'll take the folder down in a day or two. And now I'm off to bed. Enjoy!
And look, another Izzie icon! *g*

Though it doesn't hurt that this has been the only time I've actually had the music you're requesting! ;DAudioslave - Blackhole Sun (live) (http://s49.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1V3IGTM2AI77Y1VV3EI8PB9KGM) You know, I think I originally got this one from you! I give it back, in case it didn't survive the Great Computer Crash.
Faure - Sicilienne (http://s40.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2QNAZC69KU2XH31QV2ZDQC80QR) This is the last movement of a piece I can't remember the name of. Sorry!
Saint-Saen - Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah (http://s40.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2A0PAOUBO88J82BI6YBLK2609R)
Berlioz - Le damnation de Faust, Op. 24 (http://s43.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=15KJNH99HUEYZ3UYC0Z1BL7Z7V)
John Williams - Theme from ET (http://s37.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=19ACBJ9HTGC2I04K95EOKVXJ5D)
Leonard Bernstein - Candide Overture (http://s37.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3236I6FJPJ6821MPQPJN30641P)
The String Quartet Tribute to Radiohead - No Surprises (http://s37.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2DX4EHJIZJ0BQ2GWX5HUXCT4LY) Actually, I'm not sure if that is labeled properly. I have no clue how it got onto my computer, and since I've never heard No Surprises, I can't compare. Either way, it's a v. pretty string piece.
And now I must go hide for another six months. Enjoy!!!
