1. It seems that not everyone knows this, so I'm just going to remind you lot that the last two new episodes of Chuck are airing tonight on NBC at 8pm and 10pm. They're calling it the Chuck sandwich, because it's the two parter where Bryce kidnaps Chuck and they marry in Vermont! What? That's not what happens? Oh, boo.

2. Paul Newman was made of hotass when he was younger. If you didn't know that you are missing out. Cool Hand Luke. The Hustler. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof has closeted-football-player Newman. If you've never seen any of these, sweet Jesus, you are missing out. Don't even get me started on Paul and his hetero-life partner, Robert Redford. See The Sting. Just saying.

3. Make Me a Supermodel is also on tonight. Just saying.

4. Is everybody else really enjoying Psych this season or what? Did you know that Shawn and Juliet are dating in RL? How cute is that?!

5. I feel some political, sociological, hippie revolution music coming on. Something about government dissatisfaction and general dissatisfaction and taking a stand for what's right. This election is driving me mental, but Stephen Colbert is made of win.

1. Right before a gig on Monday night I got a text that Blaise had been cast for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to which I replied, "Oh noes! They'll totally fuck it up." And then I got sent the photo of the actor and I replied, "Oh noes, they did fuck it up! He's totally too hot for movie-Draco. This is obviously why Blaise and Theodore are so MFEO."

2. In addition to my new found love Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I am also loving American Gladiators, because Wolf is the man, and as antheia said Titan is totally the power bottom. I'm wondering where *that* RPF is. And yet, I am fucking thrilled that they are airing TWO new episodes of Chuck starting next week. It'll be the end of the season, but still.

3. Any news outlet that says the WGA strike isn't affecting TV is a fucking liar. Just saying. The Golden Globes are dust, the Grammys are on deck to be screwed and the Oscars are lookng iffy. No affect my ARSE!

4. I understand that people are excited about the new Torchwood, I am too, but guess what, not everybody has seen it? In fact, a lot of people haven't, so you know, not using your cut-tag for spoilers is just being an asshole.

5. antheia posted this photo in her LJ of part of the new Star Trak cast, to which I was like, wait, all that hotass is in the movie? Really? Where's the RPF? That's gonna be a HUGE fandom. Where's Zach and the new Kirk? So she linked me to this photo of Zach and Chris which spawned the following commentary:

Everytime I find myself fandomless, I think about "retiring" and then inevitably something comes along and says, 'not, yet bitch!' The O.C., did this. So did RPS. And Heroes. And then there was this weekend, with it's Psych premiere, and The Wire, which I'm not fannish about, but I just enjoy a whole fucking lot.

And then, last night, there was the premiere of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which I can't really talk about in coherant terms. I have always loved the Terminator series (T3: The Abomination, does not exist in my head). ( This particular show is made of win. )

I hate posting things when I don't know what I'm doing with them, that's why the Chuck story is gone, but here's something everyone can participate in.

I'm trying to broaden my horizons as it were, so tell me, What websites do you visit every day?. You can give me one, or five or twenty, but at least tell me a bit about them and why you like them and why you recommend them.

a) The new Gnarls Barkley album is expected out in April. I dunno the title or the exact date, but I know it's coming.

b) Adele is the love child of Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen. Not unlike Kate Nash. I can't remember who first brought her to my attention, but keep an ear out. c) If you are not watching American Gladiators you are SO missing out. Clearly Wolf is Sabertooth from the X-Men on network TV, just with way more charisma.

Now, before I forget, I want to wish a Buon Natale to circe_tigana and also to 2008. Yes, I am ready for next year now. Hell, I was ready in January. To everyone else, I hope you have a fabulous and safe New Year's Eve and that 2008 gives you all your heart desires (in the best possible way).

When I was little, through various impressionable influences, I fell into the world of soap operas. Most specifically General Hospital. This was in the time of Frisco and Felicia, and Duke and Anna, and Robert and like anybody. Post-Luke and Laura, but still with plenty of things blowing up. I suspect that GH may have been my very first fandom in my single digit years, and over time (namely college and university) I have watched all the soaps. Really. Y&R, B&B, GL, DOOL, Loving (remember that one?), Eastenders, OLTL, AMC, Sunset Beach (the Sunday omnibus on 5), Hollyoaks and again, General Hospital (Jagger! Karen! Brenda! Sonny! The Triple L Diner!).

After college/uni this all stopped (thankfully), but recently I've found myself in a position to watch GH again, and sigh, yet A FUCKING GAIN, I find myself suckered. Namely by Spinelli. He's so incredibly geeky and adorable and okay, total geek crush happening here. *sigh* I just had to share that.

We won't even start on the whole Noah & Luke on ATWT even though I only know the storyline through Wikipedia and YouTube, and that awesome first time story sameoldhope linked to. A canonically gay couple! Who kiss on daytime TV!

DAMN YOU AMPTP! You see what your intractability has reduced me to?!

At least I uploaded my yuletide story today. Rock on with that one!
