And if that weren't enough, oxoniensis made me icons of all my favorite things: George, Ari, Steven & Jack, Mos Def, Bailey, Jake, my love it's just...[flails] It would help if my computer would stop reading them as .bmp though, does anybody know how to sort that out?


b) Have the LJ PTB given us an ETA on fixing the comment thing, because shit, it's been well over a week so.

c) Happy Birthday to the most darling rageprufrock!!

d) Can anybody send me an MP3s of Kenny Loggins 'This is It' – plus, you know other KL stuff if you are so inclined, and also the Nutcracker Suite, any version you car to send. I'm partial to Tchaikovsky (and Disney, yes) myself though. Thank you to deeablo and oxoniensis I really do listen to everything, you all think I'm joking.

e) amberlynne made me the fabulous Julian Sark Malfoy icon you see in honor of Trade and my birthday. That's love, yo.

f) Sometimes I watch Grey's Anatomy and worry that people are tapping conversations I have with serialkarma, but mostly I just laugh a lot and coo at George.

g) I saw GoF again, and really, the twins steal the entire film. Except for all the gay bits and Ron's arms. *fans self* Did I mention the twin love, because wow. Maybe I'll write some Angelina/Fred. Or more Ron/Harry. Or, uh, Cedric/Cho/Harry.

GoF reminded me that I did used to quite like Harry.

On fire with the flames!

I'd stopped writing The Incredibly True Adventures of Four Stars, Two Actors in Love..., because I was uninspired and a little burned out, but you lot are like, insane with the pimping. Jake's lunchboxes (blythely, George everywhere (everyone), Brad playing dad -- and I said, huh, maybe it'll come back to life.

And then romanticalgirl sent me this, and I thought, my poor baby just hasn't met the right man. I should help him with that.

And then violentviolethp sent me this:

George Clooney: I'll answer the question, before you even ask. Dancing. My favorite thing to do is dancing.
Matt Damon to George: Okay, the question is what's your favorite part of the gay night life?
George: Oh, then I change my answer -- the backroom blow jobs.

Okay, George didn't really say that blow job bit, but everything else happens!! Yeah, I'm going to have to address this.

Also, never eat wasabi when you have a split lip.

I'm having a moment. It will pass.

Sometimes, if you are really lucky, you meet someone who understands you for who you are and how you are, not perfect, not pleasant, just you. It's a fact of life that people will come and go. Nothing is permanent, and forever is just a spatial construct, but sometimes, sometimes you make connections along the way. Sometimes you meet people who change your life with how human they are. Not all good, not all bad, just human. ethrosdemon is one of those people, and I am so honoured to know her and have her in my life.

She's George to my Brad, and Draco and Blaise to my Theodore and Neville. For as long as we are friends, I will feel blessed. And for my birthday, she wrote me a story The Summer of His Malcontent.

This is story that I couldn't even have dreamed of wanting until it existed. It's got Blaise/Neville and Blaise/Draco and Theodore/Neville. It also has the twins, and Ginny, and Ron, and the other person who we shall not mention for fear of my breaking out in hives, but please, read it.

This is all just annoying and difficult. Blaise has… issues. And he doesn’t like to discuss that. Which should be completely apparent to Neville by now. If Neville’s expecting hand-holding and confessions and childhood anecdotes, Blaise just would rather be the bastard in this story and have done.

Blaise has already had a wife, and they didn’t end well.
