I hope you've enjoyed reading this, I've certainly enjoyed writing it.

After I posted 'A Nott Don't Come for Free' jonem inquired what my plan was for Thousandth Man-verse and how it was going to end and that actually got me thinking about the end. Before, the end had only been a vague place in the distance, but after some random conversing with circe_tigana, I have seen the end, and lo, it is coming in two more large sections. I think closure will suit us all nicely. Cookies don't count though, and since before my holiday I told dorrie6 that I would write her a wee piece with snow in it, I had to deliver.

So this is for her and plumsnickety, who has created so many lovely icons, including the one here, for this universe.

I am attempting to find a hook for my yuletide story. I know what I want to write, but I can't seem to find the proper hook. Damn!

You don't have to be celebrating Thanksgiving to give thanks for the really great people in your life. Very much dedicated to circe_tigana for hatching the idea and cheering me on the entire time. ( It was a well-known fact that Emily Longbottom had fought on the side of the Order during Past Events, and according to Neville, the stuffed vulture on his grandmother's favourite hat was actually Regulus Black, Sirius Black's brother, in Animagus form. Theodore had his doubts as to the veracity of this statement, but it said a lot that Neville's grandmother would persist in letting her grandson believe something to this effect )

From this moment forward, fearlessdiva shall be held responsible for the majority of my TN/NL as she was the one who insisted there was just *so* much I could cover with them post 'Don't Be Shallow'. The only person who can be blamed more is circe_tigana, who not only makes me icons promoting my pairing of choice, but then makes encouraging noises. Sadly, this is not the story about Theodore & Neville playing Doctor at Nott Terrace (it's coming!). Instead this is the war-verse story inspired by Snow Patrol's video for 'Run'. It includes mud, flares, and death.
