+ Thirdly, I have been giving Ryan Adams a lot of shit here recently, because IMO he's been swapping quality for quantity, but slodwick reminded me late last year that even in the wreckage, Ryan always gives you something tiny to hold onto. From the Demolition LP, which I wrote off when it came out in 2002, I present Hallelujah, which should not be written off in any way with lyrics like Every I night I throw you out, leave you stranded on the boulevard. You know that I used you up, I used you like I used them all. It's got strains of 'Come Pick Me Up' not in the instrumentation, but in the sentiment, and you know how I love *that* song.

+ Fourth, someone asked me to reupload Pink Martini's Je ne veux pas travailler, because who can get enough of a song about doing fuck all?
