After a little over two years of waiting, the new Snow Patrol album is out. Eyes Open was released in the UK yesterday and will be available in the US next Tuesday. In honour of that album and the new Gomez album, How We Operate which is available now, I've thrown together a little zip action for you lot in hopes that it'll spur you on to buy the album when/if they're available in your areas*.

This zip contains some of my favourite songs from Eyes Open, How We Operate, and When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up, which is the Snow Patrol album before Final Straw.

ETA: The most darling pandarus wrote a brilliant pro-fanfiction discourse in response to the anti-fanfiction rant Robin Hobb made in her blog. Everything I could possibly say in response about how, IMO, media tie-ins are just published fan fiction, or yanno, pretty much every author is a fan of someone else and ripping then off in one way or another is said much better by Fay.
