I was going to write something, but I have no inspiration, except for wee!Peter following Nathan around the house with his chewed up Winnie the Pooh and his bare feet, and every time Nathan sits down, or tries to focus on school work, or watch TV, he can't because he can feel Peter thinking AT him.

So, finally Nathan stops, sits down at the kitchen table, pulls Peter up on his lap and is like, "Fine, what do you want, minor irritation?" And Peter smiles, missing his two front teeth -- he jumped out of a tree last week, thinking he could fly. Typical.

He scared the shit out of Nathan. Also, typical.

Peter's smiles as enigmatically as a four-year-old can and flings his arms around Nathan's neck, smacking Nathan in the head with his Winnie the Pooh. "Fly me now!" he demands, and Nathan sighs. You play airplane one time and they never let you forget it.

*pauses*

Anyroad. I wanted to share 5 8 5½ Things That Are Making Me Happy, because there should be more happiness on my flist.

1. George did this basketball commercial that you lot have to see! George Clooney for Amnesty International's 'Make Some Noise' Campaign. Watch this video. George. In a suit. Playing ball. Being hot. It will improve your life. Really.

1½. Brad Pitt, in a Heinken commercial, being chased by the paparazzi. At the end he calls George. No, really. You will fucking love this. Yes, fine, George is subtext, but you can't tell me it's not George on the other end.

2. For the five people who have never seen The Landlord I cannot stress highly enough how much this video will improve your day. I'm not a Will Farrell fan, he's not funny to me, but this isn’t about Will, it's about Pearl. His Landlord. She'll put you on the streets, yo, be afraid.

3. A new Nathan/Peter video 'Back to the Start' by kaiyote. There's something about this video that appeals to me on an emotional level and you lot know how I feel about emotion – just don't do it. And yet, there is something about the way this video translates their whole relationship and every reason I adore them. Nathan. You know what I mean.

4. A while ago linaerys wrote a story -- You'll No Longer Burn -- which I consider the definitive Peter and Nathan in a Canadian shack story, but the Canadian shack is a peripheral to the story, which is about Peter and his powers and how hard it is to support someone when all you want to do is protect them. I heart this story.

4½. For the last, however many days it's been since Heroes wrapped shooting, sparky77 and I have been very avidly following the growth of Adrian Pasdar's beard. *pause* There are so many double entendres in that last sentence that I don’t even know where to begin. ANYROAD. This has lead to my serious demand for Nathan!Beard!Porn and well, I demand really loudly sometimes. Last week sparky77 wrote me The Hidden Benefits of Anger because she lurves me. Do you love me? Then you should write me some beard!porn too. Just saying.

5. For every Lloyd. For every Marc. For everyone who has ever worked as someone's bitch (assistant) and been overworked, underappreciated, treated like shit, made gold out of straw or killed for their boss -- Congratulations! Assistants have made the EW Hot 100. Took the fuckers long enough.

5½. You guys make me happy, so you should make each other happy too. Duh. Oh, and you can have a song too: Otis Redding 'The Happy Song (Dum-Dum)'
