Your Draco seems exasperated with the legion fanon pretenders who are sensitive, beat Hermione in lessons and manage to get to the snitch first. Aside from how none of those things are true, those other Dracos don't have his sadistic, hedonistic, salacious plans for Potter and the wizarding world.
My Draco has no desire to be redeemed.
I base everything else off that one precept. It doesn't mean he wouldn't change sides for the right reason, but to me, it means that you'll never convince him he's wrong. You can compromise without changing your beliefs.
