SV, HP, X2, EW, Het, Jude & Jonny, Ocean’s Eleven, Chloe & Eminem… among other requests. Obviously you’re all sadists, and you’re gagging to see me in pain.

Around #20 I started seeing spots. This is SO never happening again.

All My Friends for [livejournal.com profile] starlitefaerie
Ephram is not at the hospital for Colin. He repeats this to himself.

He’s there to support his father, even though he’s been MIA for the first fifteen years of Ephram’s life.

He’s there to support Amy, even though she’s treated him like shit and used him.

He’s there to support Bright, even though they can’t stand each other. Right.

Ephram’s not at the hospital to support the only friend he’s ever made in Everwood, even though he can’t imagine life without Colin.

Truthfully, Ephram’s not sure why he’s there. He wonders if all friendships are so uncertain and confusing.

American Girls for [livejournal.com profile] shuntbumps
Amy Abbott is a cheerleader.

She likes pink clothing and doing her hair. She’s very feminine. You can tell by looking at her.

When Amy was small she played with dolls. When she got older she learned to do those things that will help her land a husband when the time comes. She won’t have to look hard. It’s obvious.

Amy has a boyfriend, Colin. She doesn’t love him. Most people can’t tell.

Amy, actually, is in love with Colin’s sister, Laynie. But most people can’t tell that either.

After all, Amy is a cheerleader. She can’t possibly be gay.

Angels of the Silences for [livejournal.com profile] bonibaru
There are things that Lex used to do for attention. He doesn’t do them anymore for obvious reasons: one of them is traded under LXCP, the other is named Clark Kent.

Lex has worked long and hard to create the life he has. He wants to become president. He wants Clark with him. Lex doesn’t want to jeopardize this in anyway: he has no idea why the boy with the gold hair attracts him so badly. Lex has no idea why he approaches him, or what impels him to ask his name.

It’s like Draco has him under a spell.

Another Horsedreamer’s Blues for [livejournal.com profile] ellesttrois
“It’s the middle of the night,” Lex mumbles. He has cottonmouth and feels like Marlon Brando in The Godfather.

“Had a nightmare,” Clark admits to the nape of Lex‘s neck.

“Superman has nightmares?” Lex is fractionally awake now.

“Blue oxen.” A pause.

“I told you not to watch those Disney movies before bed.”

“It was the Legend of Paul Bunyan and John Henry, how bad could it be?”

“You’re the one who won’t watch Snow White with the twins.”

“The Evil Queen is scary.”

“She reminds me of Lois.”

Lex.“

“I was just saying.”

“No Disney for you either.”

“Spoilsport.”

August and Everything After for [livejournal.com profile] andariell
Chloe doesn’t have to say yes. She’s got a brilliant job and more than enough money to be comfortable. She can take care of herself, and she’s never going to want for anything again. No matter what happens.

The ring is beautiful, true, but it could be a cigar band for all she cares. That’s not why she’s agreeing to this: Lex loves her. She can tell, and she will never be with someone who doesn’t put her first.

So, the wedding will be in June. The baby will be born in July. In August their new life will begin.

Baby, I’m a Big Star Now for [livejournal.com profile] bexless and [livejournal.com profile] tstar78
Blonde is her natural hair color. She’s not impressed with his bling, but he’s caught her singing ‘In Da Club’ in the kitchen. She doesn’t wear her eyeliner on her lips, and she calls him a misogynist bastard at least twice a day, but she adores Andre.

She’s a journalist, and he’s still crazy about her.

Marshall always thought that having enough diapers for Hailie and paying cash meant he had arrived. Not once did he think having a girl like Chloe would be the true measure of how far he’d come. Apparently success means different things to different people.

Barely Out of Tuesday for [livejournal.com profile] blunaris
It doesn’t matter that Marie thinks she’s in love with him, or that Bobby thinks he’s in love with her. It certainly doesn’t matter that St. John eyes him like a can of kerosene. Logan is older, he knows better, even when Johnny rubs that lighter against his cocksucker mouth and all but demands to be fucked.

They’re just kids. It doesn’t matter how they look or what they say. They can’t drink legally. Hell, they can’t even vote. Logan reminds himself of this every time he catches one of them watching him. They’re too young.

Eventually that will change.

Black and Blue for [livejournal.com profile] addictedkitten
The yellowing bruise on Harry’s arm was from the broom shed. Draco nabbed him on his way to Herbology, and shoved him against the wall so hard that Harry wound up with three splinters in his arse. Harry’s only complaint was timing.

The red bruise on Draco’s neck was left by Harry after he dragged Draco into the Quidditch showers, and shagged him against a particularly rough patch of the wall. Draco skinned both his palms, and later referred to Harry as Nosferatu.

In classes they sit apart and prod the bruises hidden underneath their robes. Their pain connects them.

Butterfly in Reverse for [livejournal.com profile] anamchara
She makes the first move because it’s Ron, and if she waits on him they’ll be dead and decayed before he gets round to it.

He blinks rapidly when she runs her fingers through his hair; she can feel the breeze from his eyelashes. Boys always seem to have the longest lashes; it vexes Hermione terribly, but she’ll ponder that later.

Right now, she’s sorting out snogging Ron, and she uses his hair to navigate the kiss. A tug back when he rushes, guiding forward when he’s too tentative. Small butterfly kisses to reward him for knowing she’s the one.

Children in Bloom for [livejournal.com profile] wyoluvr
Bright’s dad used to make pancakes on Sunday mornings when Colin slept over. Colin doesn’t remember, but Bright does. Bright remembers sausage links and bacon, and the time his dad dropped batter all over the floor and cursed. He remembers that Colin giggled and he gaped, until his father made them promise not to tell his mom. The S’mores they had with lunch were Bright’s first experience with bribery.

Bright remembers a lot.

He knows he’ll always remember sitting in this diner with Colin and not taking his chance to say goodbye. Bright also knows he’ll never eat pancakes again.

Closer to You for [livejournal.com profile] pastiche
Daniel knows that guys like him never get the girl; it’s part of the Unofficial Geek Handbook given out covertly by command on the first day of academy training. It doesn’t bother him, that much. Everyone has those times when they would like to be smoother and more refined, but Daniel’s just not cut out for that. The Colonel says he used to be like Daniel, but Daniel doesn’t really buy that. He has a hard time picturing Jack O’Neill as anything but assured and in control, at least until Jack tries to kiss him and completely misses his mouth.

Daylight Fading for [livejournal.com profile] jeannie81
The heat is unbearable: Clark can’t feel it. Lex can though, and the red dirt gets in his nose and makes him irritable.

The traffic never seems to move anywhere, and there are cows every time Clark turns around. When he complains, Lex ignores him. When Clark asks why they came to Calcutta in the first place, Lex looks at him as though he’s lost his mind.

“Because it’s India, Clark.”

Clark knows he should get it, whatever ‘it’ is, but he doesn’t. There are too many people, too much poverty: at night Superman circles around the city feeling helpless.

Einstein on the Beach for [livejournal.com profile] rsiobhan
All great men are misunderstood; Percy is terribly misunderstood. His family doesn’t support his desire for a better life, and they make a mockery of his ambitions. He just wants something better for them.

Penelope doesn’t understand; she thinks he’s sweet and a bit bookish. She doesn’t realise that he’s terribly daring in his own way, and he’s most certainly not sweet.

Oliver doesn’t understand Percy either. He thinks Percy is ashamed of him, of them, so he leaves.

Percy is not ashamed of anything, he’s simply very private, but no one understands that.

Except for Tom. Tom understands everything.

Ghost in You for [livejournal.com profile] slodwick (1 of 2)
There’s no light in the back of the limousine, and the first thing Lucas does is scrounge around to turn one on. He doesn’t know who this guy is, but if he’s claiming to be family, Lucas wants a really good look at him.

When the overhead snaps on suddenly, however, Lucas is taken aback, and he blinks for several seconds before his eyes adjust. Lex Luthor is just as hairless and shiny as he appears in the papers. Honestly, Lucas doesn’t sense any resemblance of any kind, until Lex opens his mouth and starts talking about family and destiny.

Goin' Down to New York Town for [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma
There are a million things that Ephram misses about New York: the D train, lox and Central Park. Sometimes he even misses the homeless people and the pervading sense that the city should be dirtier than it appears. It’s not difficult to miss things like that in Everwood. Everwood is just so… clean. The people, the streets, even the snow. The snow in the city was gray before it touched the ground and by morning it was yellow with dog piss, but it was New York, and it made Ephram happy.

Some day he’ll take Bright there, then he’ll understand.

A Good Year for the Roses for [livejournal.com profile] suaine
Draco wheezes when he sleeps. He snuffles, grunts, makes all sorts of very non-Malfoy noises and gets up at least six times in the middle of the night to use the loo; Harry keeps track of all this somewhere in his subconscious. This is how he knows.

It doesn’t stop him from pretending.

He just wants one more night; he deserves it. In all his years of being The Old Git Who Couldn’t Lift His Wand, Let Alone Save the World, Harry hasn’t asked for much. If he wants to pretend that his lover is still alive, it’s his right.

The Greening of America for [livejournal.com profile] elfiepike
Every Abbott has their own coping method; Bright’s mom cooks when she’s upset. After some arguments with his dad, Bright’s watched her cook enough to feed the whole basketball team. If she’s really angry she knits. Bright’s convinced that one day she’s going to stab his dad with a knitting needle.

Bright’s dad acts more stuffy than usual when he’s upset, Bright knows the signs: thin line of mouth, lots of big words, more patients than normal. Amy throws fits, and Bright, well, since he lost his boyfriend to his sister, he doesn’t have much to get upset about anymore.

Hangin’ Around for [livejournal.com profile] lux__aeterna
Technically, they have nothing, and that’s pretty much the beauty of their relationship: with no expectations there can be no disappointment.

Yes, they share a house that Billy hasn’t really seen in six months, but that’s all right. Dom visits him on set, and from the beginning there were to be no expectations. Truthfully, Billy suspects that’s what keeps them together: the fact that they don’t have to be together.

Billy’s never done well with rules, and he’s seen what happens to people who try and bind themselves together. He’s not on for that, hanging about suits him just fine.

Hard Candy for [livejournal.com profile] tstar78
The last time Lex was in a fast food establishment he caught a cold from another child, and his governess got sacked. Clearly the cleanliness standard hasn’t improved. There are snot-nosed children running amok, and Lex’s lack of empathy makes him itch, or maybe that’s his fake beard and toupee.

The glue is clearly non-Luthor friendly. If Clark had just agreed to do this for him, he wouldn’t be in this predicament. He can’t possible be seen here.

“Welcome to Burger King, sir, may I take your order?”

“Yes, I’d like fifteen of the Warrior Angel Happy Meals. To go.”

Have You Seen Me Lately? for [livejournal.com profile] bexless
Later Marshall will remember being in the studio. He’s been in one or another for the last three years: his album, Obie’s, Fifty’s. The studio is home. Safe.

The studio is dry land.

Marshall won’t remember emerging. He won’t know why he picked today instead of any other. He won’t remember turning on the radio.

He will remember not being invited to the wedding.

…Lex Corp CEO, Lex Luthor and Helen Bryce Luthor… plane down…accident…

Marshall won’t remember picking up his keys or leaving the house.

He will remember feeling like he needed to move because he was drowning.
*Sequel located here*

Here Comes That Feeling Again for [livejournal.com profile] slodwick(2 of 2 (I owed you Lucas))
His eyebrows haven’t improved with age. That’s the first observation Chloe makes in regards to the prodigal Luthor. It’s been five years since they met, and she doubts that Lucas remembers, but she does: he got completely ripped at Lex’s penthouse, and puked in the bathroom.

Not impressive.

So, even though she wouldn’t kick him out her bed, and she’s fairly surprised to see him at the opera, she’s not going to say anything. She’s not expecting him to come to her, and she’s certainly not expecting him to invite her to his box. Then again, he is a Luthor.

High Life for [livejournal.com profile] chash
Dylan’s spent most of his life living in a fairy tale: Robin Hood or Prince Charming, but the days of hiding away in his tower are coming to a close.

The ending of the story wasn’t supposed to be like this.

Yes, they’ve rescued the girl from her awful fate, but the question now becomes who will save him? Who will save Jez?

Dylan’s never wanted to get married but now it seems inevitable, like in all the fairytales, because for the life of him, Dylan can’t remember any Disney stories about two little boys living happily ever after.

I Wish I Was a Girl for [livejournal.com profile] kattiya
It’s just this thing they do sometimes. Kissing.

Ewan kisses Sadie and Sadie kisses Pete. Ewan kisses Pete and Jonny and Jude. Of course, Ewan also kisses dogs and the receptionist; he’s very free with his mouth. Jonny not so much so. He tends to be much more discriminating with his mouth. When he was with Angelina, well, that was another lifetime. Things are different now.

There’s no more Angelina; there’s no more Sadie. But there’s still Jude. There will always be Jude, and for once Jonny can’t think of any reasons not to kiss Jude. Because he wants to.

A Long December for [livejournal.com profile] iscaris
The scrape of metal against enamel grates of Scott’s nerves, but he’s not going to rise to the occasion. For once. Scott is not going to turn around, even though Bobby’s eyes are like fingers and cool tongues dancing over his exposed skin. Scott can feel those eyes on the nape of his neck, leisurely trawling down his spine, and curving over his ass. He knows that when he turns around Bobby will be concentrating on his ice cream and not on him, but he’s not fooled. No matter how cold Bobby pretends to be, Scott’s seen him with Johnny.

Monkey for [livejournal.com profile] foreversmitten
Dr. Harold Abbot will forever rue the day he met Dr. Andrew Brown. In Andy, Harold has found a contradiction of science and nature that makes Harold’s nose itch: free medical services, misfit children and ramshackle offices for a man who drives a BMW. A scraggly beard hiding the finest neurosurgeon in the USA. An earring can‘t be far behind.

Harold can’t approve.

Andy turned his back on everything he earned: fortune, fame, for Everwood. In a way, for Harold. It makes no sense to him, he’s always wanted to leave. The presence of Andy insures that will never happen.

A Murder of One for [livejournal.com profile] obsessedmuch
Lindsey had planned to bust Faith out of jail and was disappointed to find out it had already been done. It was something more than disappointment to find out his contract now belonged to Angel, Wolfram & Hart.

So he left, and followed Faith to Sunnydale, because he could. It felt necessary. Except, she wasn’t there either.

Eventually, he found her in San Francisco, living above a pub in the Castro. For some reason it seemed very fitting. He watched her before making his presence known. He wasn’t sure what he expected to happen. He was shocked when she smiled.

Omaha for [livejournal.com profile] researchminion
Bright dreams of California with its golden beaches and enormous waves. When he moves there he’ll have a shack on the beach, and go surfing every day. He doesn’t know how to surf, but when he moves to California he’s going to learn.

Bright dreams of skyscrapers that touch the ceiling of the sky, and city blocks that stretch so far in either direction they disappear. Bright has never been to any major city besides Denver, but one day that will change.

Every day Bright dreams of leaving Everwood, and every night he makes Ephram promise to go with him.

Rain King for [livejournal.com profile] babywitch
Kurt has always been a watcher. His motives are not insidious or malicious; he enjoys watching life, whether it’s storm clouds floating across the sky or flowers bending in the rain.

Kurt is also a great observer of people. He is fascinated by the human condition, mutants and non-mutants alike, and he knows from the moment he meets the youngest X-Men that something is off between them. There are too many furtive looks and uncomfortable silences. Kurt knows what will come to pass, and even though he is sad when John leaves, he can’t say he didn’t see it coming.

St. Robinson in his Cadillac Dream for [livejournal.com profile] ladyvyola
When Danny gets out he’ll come and pick up Rusty first. Danny will still be scruffy and unshaven because he won’t have taken the time to stop to clean up. He’ll probably reek of powdered soap and his bunkmate’s cigarettes. Rusty won’t care. After all this time, nothing else will be important. Danny will have driven all night just to see him. He won’t have stopped in New York. He will know exactly where Rusty is.

It doesn’t matter that Danny doesn’t know how to drive.

It doesn’t matter that Danny loves Tess.

In Rusty’s dreams nothing matters but them.

Suffocate for [livejournal.com profile] shanelle
If Dom doesn’t want to go to the award show then Billy won’t force him. Billy’s never been one for the strong-arm tactics anyway. If he wants something badly enough he can make it happen through suggestion; his nan always said that was the proper method to get what you wanted. Except. Except that Dom’s been knocking about the flat for days, weeks, now, and it’s driving Billy mental. He’s not on for this hiding business.

Just because they’re involved doesn’t mean anything should change. To Billy’s mind, if he wanted to stay in the closet, he’d’ve chosen Elijah instead.

Time and Time Again for [livejournal.com profile] kdorian
On bad days Wesley haunts the Archives department: if he’s going to practice fruitless exercises, he wants immediate results. Apparently there are things even Angel, Wolfram & Hart can’t achieve, and the Archivist knows not to interfere with, or attempt helping, Mr. Wydham-Pryce. Instead she quietly removes herself as Wesley stalks by, muttering to himself.

It never crosses his mind to have the ‘M’ contracts moved up to his office.

Today, he tears up the contract and the folder. Once, twice, eight times. It’s only when the paper cuts bleed that he pauses: he’ll never be free of Lindsey McDonald.
