Everybody's got their something.

Sweet mother of Zeus, you’re all mad. Really. Like stark raving, there’s-a-whole-lot-of-knitting-happening-here, and christ, how-many-of-you-are-underage nuts.
I’d originally planned to respond to everybody, but when y’all broke the 100 barrier, my brain called it a day. I am working on responding to people, but it'll take a while. I feel I should say how touched I am that you guys like my X2/OC/SV fic, and that I’m jealous
quinnponders got to see Ryan last night. I know he was all that and a large G&T.
I am seriously amused by all the hair issues and people who can’t run because of their balance issues and knobby knees. I now want cookies and Also, I see a great future for a new Popeye amongst all you spinach people. (For the record, that spinach thing was supposed to be an example, but hey, whatever makes you happy, just tell me why there wasn’t so much canned vs. fresh convo on
obsessedmuch’s LJ. I see that there are A LOT of veggie issues amongst you lot.)
- I absolutely adore old skool rap like Doug E. Fresh, Eric B and Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest, Special Ed and Slick Rick. I could care less about cars, houses and who you took home last night.
- I am very distressed about the casting for the new Batman, but since one of my boyfriends is in it I may have to suck it up. Nuts.
- I am currently obsessed with the Stereophonics’ Rainbows and Pots of Gold
- I’m not into Neil Gaiman. I don’t dislike him, I’m just not into his stuff.
- I get more comments about the way I walk than is believable or healthy. To me it’s just a fucking walk (left leg, right leg, your body will follow), but it was described by an ex as Kate Moss meets Liam Gallagher, which still worries me.
- I’ve lived in five cities in the last six years.
- I used to be notorious for my party habits, much like Lex, but due to the state of the economy and getting older, not so much so any more.
- I’ve done modeling for print and runway. They both made me mental.
- I used to play the guitar somewhat passably, sadly I don’t any more and I miss it dreadfully.
- I hate pretension.
- I don’t particularly love anything I’ve written. There are things I’m fond of, and things that amuse me, but I don’t think any of it’s very good.
Anyway, enough about me and more about you. Thank you all for answering, it's really made my day, and now I think everybody should go here and read about everybody else.
ETA: It's nice to hear from all the lurkers, and I prefer my spinach on my salads or sauteed with butter and garlic.

Date: 2003-12-12 04:35 pm (UTC)Oh, I know that feeling. The last time I saw him, he was wearing an orange button-down, jeans that worked his ass (and he's too tiny to have an ass that good) and blue eyeliner. I was pretty much catatonic for hours afterwards.

I know that feeling about not really loving anything you've written. Well, not you, but me, myself. Because most things you write I'm just wallowing in them like Wendi-nip. Because Z--iceskating Lex.
Classic, babe. Classic.
