Day five of the sickness. Have progressed to tasteless yoghurt and bananas. Cannot have anything with sugar. Or fat. Or taste. Must leave the island soon.

[livejournal.com profile] serialkarma has finally revealed what we’ve all suspected for some time: Sandy Cohen is indeed the coolest dad around. He’s also a member of the Jewish mafia. You don’t believe me? Check out Sandy Cohen and the Secret of the Bagels and Lox. Also, she killed people for me, with snark no less! And in HP-verse! *adores*

And if that weren’t enough, there’s this story by [livejournal.com profile] lalejandra which is hot and snarky, and okay there’s no death, but we can live with that. Plus, there’s bowling!

Am glad you liked the death and snark. I think that's the first official piece of HP anything I've written and posted. Go me. I think.*g*

Are you still home sick, then? You should talk to [livejournal.com profile] issaro, who is on a very similar diet. You can complain about tasteless, uninteresting food to each other. (Not that you shouldn't complain about it to others, just that she would most likely empathize deeply with you.)

Am at work. Yeah. Exactly.

*tugs on arm*

Look at my pretty O.C. mood theme courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] spiffydaze.

I saw that mood theme in [livejournal.com profile] spiffydaze's journal! 'tis lovely! I was going to grab it for myself but then realized you have to have your own server, which I have not. So poo. One of these days I need to get me some imagehosting capabilities.

Kat will help you. I think. I should ask her. Do you want me to? I totally will. I want you to have pretties too! Or as Sarah, I'm sure she'd hook you up. Also, did you ever get your LJ redone? Do we need to solicit for you again?

I did *not* get my LJ redone, as Wicked Cherub seems to have disappeared. I'm not all that upset, actually, as (as per usual) I seem to have changed my mind about what I'd want as a design. Lately I've actually started to kind of like those new S2 designs, although I'm not crazy about how the comments section looks. I'm going to bug Mar about it on IM one night, I think, so I'll hold off on the soliciting for now. Thanks, though.

As far as image hosting, if I do get Mar to help me do what I think I'd like to do, I may in fact need some space, so if you think Kat could help me out, that would be awesome if you'd ask. *mwah*

I have a refrigerator full of Indian food that I have to toss lest I get tempted and get sick all over again. Also, organic food is the devil and free range chicken broth is evil. And let's not even start on the chicken soup and the plain yoghurt. And the fucking dry toast. Today though I got Jell-o. I almost died of delight.

whoo! dry toast! don't you just *love* it?

sadly, i got tired of jell-o two days ago. and since we're on the subject... why in the name of all the little gods do they make orange and lemon jell-o? That shit is vile.

/hands over some applesauce

Dude, red jello is the way to go. I normally like lemon and orange stuff, but not with the jello. I would love some applesauce, but you know, apple juice is not agreeing with me and I would rather not risk it, you know?

oh yes, red is certainly the choice of the true jell-o connoisseur but sadly all the time i was in the hospital those bastards only brought red jell-o once! it was a conspiracy. they won't let you go until you pass the jell-o eating test and then they bring you nothing but non-red jell-o. cruel and unusual punishment.

have you tried tea? hot or cold it was one of the first drinks i was able to handle beyond ice. but i sympathize over the juice. honestly, i don't think me and juice will *ever* be on talking terms again.
