+ Okay, Smallville people, maybe it’s just me, but this seems to scream pick up at a bar/high class escort/OMGTehGay! pretty damn loudly.

+ Also, the fact the Beyonce was even being considered for Lois makes my teeth hurt – but Johnny Depp being Lex is another story altogether.

+ And last, but never least, GIP!* Yes, you can leave me for 28 Days with him! Just without the rabid, homicidal people and Christopher Eccleston as Mussolini. *Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] meret

+ I have to say I'm pretty shocked that nobody has jumped up and down and shrieked their heads off about the huge Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil poster. It made me laugh, but only because I adore the book.

Also, I like Adam. It would be really nice if they kept him.*

*Edited to Note: When I say I like Adam, this does not mean I want to have his babies, shack him up with Lana, or indeed shack up with the actor who portrays him. All this means is that I appreciate people with low BS-thresholds, who don't believe in all the pedestal drama. Also, I like his sartorial style. It would be nice if they stopped using the shampoo-in-a-spray-can on his hair though. It would also be nice if they stopped putting the clown make up on his face. We know he has nice cheekbones; we can move along now.

That book cover is a fic waiting to happen.

*sits on hands*

Also, I could only focus on the Battlefield Earth poster. Because, dude. Why.

My thoughts exactly. And it was so prominently placed. Twice. What kind of %(#*$-ed up product placement is that?

I kept thinking they were trying to imply that computer geeks have bad taste in movies, or something. *fist shake* Either that or the set designers think that's the type of movie techie types like, in which case O_o ack, run away.

Me too!!! I was like, "Thats not..." And then it was shown again more clearly and I was like, "Oh gosh it is!"

Zahra, when was the MGGE poster?

When Lex first goes down to IT and meets Molly. It's in the pan shot.

Well, everybody I watched with was too busy jumping up and down and shrieking about the Battlefield Earth poster. But not in the same way. Where was the Midnight poster? And yes, that book rocks. Far better than the movie, even if it did have Jude Law. As a pretty gay boytoy, no less. Mmmm.

He's smart, cagey, dresses like Seth, and quite clearly does not have all his marbles, what's there not to like? Also, I put up a disclaimer: *Edited to Note: When I say I like Adam, this does not mean I want to have his babies, shack him up with Lana, or indeed shack up with the actor who portrays him. Yay! You saw the poster, too! I nattered about it in my LJ, too. Still flummoxed re: Battlefield Earth poster, though.

Also, call me crazy, but if I were a studio executive casting a cultural icon like Lois Lane, I'd rather hire someone who can actually, you know, act their way out of a wet paper bag. Gah.

Maybe it's a secret Scientology message? And yes, I was very WTF too. At least put up something good, like Hackers!

*pets* I know what you mean. To my mind he's just a constant stream of WTF!, though, so I tend to take it in the vein of 'uh, huh, see this is yet another reason why I've never been a Supes fan.'
