today's variety had me all of the happy because hello they've signed on wolfgang petersen (the perfect storm) to direct the very anticipated (by me and ethrosdemon at least) Superman vs. Batman movie... and they're saying that, in the script, the real fight might be over morals. um. well duh!

so, i'm all excited reading this and they're talking about how it's going to be a film, coming in 2004 that hasn't been cast yet. (rabbit, maybe we'll get to see brian as bruce after all. swoon) however, the worrisome part, for me at least, is that apparently petersen likes matt damon. a lot. like in that cast him in one of the roles way.

WHAT. THE. FUCK.

FYI: the Superman flick that McG (charlie's angels & sugar ray videos) is doing hasn't been cast yet either.
