It's as clear as mud.

I have resolve, dammit, but I was really curious about this.
Spider-Man 2
It's Not Easy Being Green
Harry fucks him hard.
Harry always fucks him a little too hard, so that Peter moves slowly when he wakes up in the morning in his own bed. He always goes home afterwards, and the ache settles during the day after because Spider-Man couldn’t do what he does if he were in pain all the time, but that’s probably what Harry wants. Harry probably wants Peter to remember him all the time. It’s not really that hard for Peter to think about Harry all the time; it‘s not like he has much choice.
*
Until Mary Jane Watson came along Peter Parker was a still a virgin at the age of twenty, and even that was debatable for several weeks until Peter was able to get a proverbial handle on his excitement issues. Eventually Peter did get himself under control, and their relationship was consummated in between a three-alarm fire in the Village and a robbery on 52nd and Lexington near the NBC studios. Clearly there wasn't a lot of time to bask in the afterglow, and there was no discussion about who got stuck in the wet spot as MJ wound up with the entire bed to herself.
In short, Peter Parker had to go to a lot of trouble to lose his virginity to the woman he loved, but it was worth it. He knew it was worth it because he loved MJ, and he wanted to give himself to her.
There was a small issue, however, with regards to which virginity Peter was giving to MJ, because at that point Spider-Man had been getting fucked on a regular basis by the Green Goblin for two weeks, so maybe the virginity thing wasn’t accurate at all. Peter didn't really want to spoil the mood with that revelation, though, because it was -- complicated.
Just like everything with Spider-Man and the Green Goblin.
*
MJ stays over on Tuesday and Thursday nights. She has a Wednesday matinee and a late performance on Friday, so she prefers to go to her apartment afterwards, but she makes a point of staying with Peter at least twice a week. He tries to be there when she is, but sometimes things just don't work out the way he plans them. Sometimes the Green Goblin comes out on Tuesday or Thursday and Spider-Man winds up being spotted uptown, swinging around near the Osborn penthouse.
*
Harry never talks about what he wants. He never says anything at all, because he’s too busy shoving Peter into furniture and ripping at his Spider suit.
Harry goes a little crazy when Peter’s wearing the Spider-suit, but once they’re naked it gets a little better, except Harry's thrusts are always on the wrong side of too hard and his teeth are always too sharp. It’s obvious how much he likes to see Peter flinching just a little bit further away.
Harry delights in leaving bruises on Peter's hips and scratches on Peter's back. He revels in pushing in too soon and using his teeth when he knows it's so much better without, and Peter lets him. Peter lets Harry do a lot of things.
Harry can be really violent a lot of the time; and Peter doesn’t think he means to be, but maybe he doesn’t know any other way, and Peter really doesn’t have the right to correct him otherwise.
*
Peter’s regrets are strongest at night. Not when he's diving off of skyscrapers or flying through his city -- it is his city -- at the end of a tenuous web, but when he's his perching on one of the crumbling gargoyles on Harry's balcony and wondering why he keeps coming back or why he's bothering to leave at all.
*
Sometimes Peter wonders how much things would've been different if that spider hadn't bitten him that day at the Columbia science lab. Some days he wonders if things with Mr Osborn could've gone another way, and he wishes his lot in life on someone else because he's tired and worn out and stretched too thin like the last bit of peanut butter on that really cheap crumbling bread. Except that his Uncle Ben always said that wishes never changed anything.
*
Harry will always just be Harry. The Green Goblin is someone else entirely, but Peter knows better than to point that out when Harry’s inside him, fucking him and chanting his name over and over again.
Spidermanspidermanspiderman.
*
Peter's always been behind everyone else in his physical development.
When he hit puberty at fourteen most of his male classmates already had fuzz on their upper-lips. When his voice dropped at fifteen, most of his classmates had already had their growth spurts. It was like when God was handing stuff out, he said 'and you, Peter Parker, you shall always have things happen later than everybody else in life.'
Peter must’ve missed the part where God also said, ‘because you get everything late, I’m going to make it twice as complicated for you, just for fun.’
*
Peter has only ever loved one person in the way that his Aunt May loved his Uncle Ben -- except that's not really true, because Peter has always loved Mary Jane, but he loves Harry too, in a very complicated way. What’s even more complicated is that he knows Harry loves him too, but Harry just doesn’t know how to deal with it yet and that‘s why Peter keeps going back to the penthouse. Because he‘s hoping that one day Harry will have figured out that Peter‘s not his enemy at all; all Peter wants to do is help him. All Peter wants to do is help everyone, and he knows what it‘s like trying to live up to so many expectations without anyone to show him right from wrong.
It’s not easy trying to be everything to everyone.
