Two recs and a confession.
May. 2nd, 2005 11:44 am1. After sitting on the DVDs for months on end, I finally watched the last episode of season two MI-5/Spooks. I'd waited because I don't know when season three will be available and I like to savor this show. I honestly think it may be the best show I've ever seen for quality of acting and writing and how flipping compelling it is. And, uh, Matthew MacFayden. Sweet Jesus. Anyroad, I finally watched episode ten yesterday, and well, I cried. I don't mean my eyes were damp, I mean I cried. As anyone who knows me will attest, this is pretty fucking monumental. I haven't cried in this century, and yes, we're five years in. I'm one of those people who can count the number of times they've cried on both hands, but this, this was unfuckingbelievable.

I was fucking blown away.
Not just by the story, but by the detail and the interactive nature of the entire enterprise, because really Flesh Mechanic isn't a story inasmuch as it's an experience, and really, it is quite the experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough, regardless of the fandom. I think anyone and everyone can appreciate the magnitude of the effort, and the success, of what
