edited at 1:51pm i had a pity party moment wherein i outlined my reasons for not actually completing 'just looking revisted.' and then i read them and was like 'dude, you are so fucking petty,' hence they are gone.

You think Hestia is non-Clexy? It is rather Gen-ish, but it's so easily pre-slash.

See, I see it as much more gen than anything shipper related. 'Hestia's' got this basic Lex need and it's layered by everything else, but it's always there. It's like a three-tiered cake. I see it as being more about Lex needing a mother-figure and wanting family than anything having to do with Clark. Still, this is one of those pieces that can go either way, which is probably yet another reason that I like it.

Not to mention that I know some Martha/Lex shippers who could go to town with this piece.

Martha/Lex shippers

One reason I love Hestia so much is it should be real. Even more so than Clex. (Someone's going to take my slash credentials away for saying that, I just know it.) So Martha/Lex smacks of incest to me. {{shudder}}
