Tis the season to give, and whatnot.

I've been working on a soundtrack for Thousandth-Man verse because we all know I am nothing without my music -- but this is rather more time consuming than I'd thought it might be. Naturally, it's got a 90s Brit-bend to it if we're following JKRs timeline and my musical predilictions. I've started uploading some of the songs -- but some I don't have with me right now so when they're all up I'll let you guys know. For those who don't feel like waiting on me though...
1. Oasis - Live Forever
(Maybe you're the same as me/We see things they'll never see/ You and I are gonna live forever)
2. Morcheeba - Part of the Process
(You smash they grab 'til it's gone/Attempt to grow and fix undone/ And I am the way it's all to scale/ We're all companions on which we sail)
3. Badly Drawn Boy - Everybody's Stalking
(Gonna follow you around/Gonna wear you down/Don't want to alienate you/ As long as it might take you)
4. Sondre Lerche - Don't Be Shallow
(my words to you are fake/ now you are my mistake/ and i am yours)
5. The Beatles - Come Together
(He say I know you, you know me/ One thing I can tell you is you got to be free)
6. Gomez - Revolutionary Kind
(Keep on kicking shit, keep running off the rails/ Keep on picking the dirt from 'neath your fingernails)
7. Turin Brakes - Long Distance
(Well if this gets ugly/ I'd swear/ This ain't our last chance)
8. Travis - The Weight
(I pulled in to Nazareth, was feeling 'bout half past dead/I just need some place where I can lay my head )
9. Snow Patrol - Run
(I'll sing it one last time for you/Then we really have to go/You've been the only thing that's right/In all I've done)
10. The Verve - Back on My Feet Again
(There is no time for wasting moments/ That we have longed to share/ There was a day/ When I almost prayed/ That I could see you there by my side)
11. Elbow - Fugitive Motel
(Curtains stay closed/But everyone knows/You hear through the walls in this place)
12. The Bluetones - Vampire
(I thought I had seen it/ I thought I had learned/but there's something around each corner I turn)
13. The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses
(I watched you suffer a dull aching pain/ Now you decided to show me the same)
14. Embrace - My Weakness is None of Your Business
(Don't wanna let you down/ I've been lucky I was lost/ Now I'm found)
15. Massive Attack - Protection
(Sometimes you look so small, need some shelter/Just runnin' round and round, helter skelter)
16.Blur - To the End
(Infatuated only with ourselves/ And neither of us can think straight anymore)
17. Bonus track - Jeff Buckley - Please Send Me Someone to Love
(Heaven please send to all mankind/ Understanding and peace of mind/But, if it's not asking too much/ Please send me someone to love)
* Again, I'd like to thank everybody who sent me new mp3s to play with; I appreciate your generosity greatly! :)**
**ETN: I just threw up Snow Patrol's 'I Could Stay Away Forever (If I Tried)' for
rivkta and anybody else who's interested. This is very much pre-Run stuff. I was informed that there was a 'licensing' issue with this mp3, so I'm going to try and put another link up this evening.

These are totally on my Remus/Sirius mix. Except I like the Sundays' version of Wild Horses better. I'm a heathen, I know.*g*

Date: 2004-12-08 12:11 pm (UTC)I love "Run," but "How to Be Dead" might be my favorite Snow Patrol song. The way he says "Oh my God" after "You've not heard a single word I have said" -- it's so perfect for a fucked-up relationship.
