I've been working on a soundtrack for Thousandth-Man verse because we all know I am nothing without my music -- but this is rather more time consuming than I'd thought it might be. Naturally, it's got a 90s Brit-bend to it if we're following JKRs timeline and my musical predilictions. I've started uploading some of the songs -- but some I don't have with me right now so when they're all up I'll let you guys know. For those who don't feel like waiting on me though...

1. Oasis - Live Forever
(Maybe you're the same as me/We see things they'll never see/ You and I are gonna live forever)

2. Morcheeba - Part of the Process
(You smash they grab 'til it's gone/Attempt to grow and fix undone/ And I am the way it's all to scale/ We're all companions on which we sail)

3. Badly Drawn Boy - Everybody's Stalking
(Gonna follow you around/Gonna wear you down/Don't want to alienate you/ As long as it might take you)

4. Sondre Lerche - Don't Be Shallow
(my words to you are fake/ now you are my mistake/ and i am yours)

5. The Beatles - Come Together
(He say I know you, you know me/ One thing I can tell you is you got to be free)

6. Gomez - Revolutionary Kind
(Keep on kicking shit, keep running off the rails/ Keep on picking the dirt from 'neath your fingernails)

7. Turin Brakes - Long Distance
(Well if this gets ugly/ I'd swear/ This ain't our last chance)

8. Travis - The Weight
(I pulled in to Nazareth, was feeling 'bout half past dead/I just need some place where I can lay my head )

9. Snow Patrol - Run
(I'll sing it one last time for you/Then we really have to go/You've been the only thing that's right/In all I've done)

10. The Verve - Back on My Feet Again
(There is no time for wasting moments/ That we have longed to share/ There was a day/ When I almost prayed/ That I could see you there by my side)

11. Elbow - Fugitive Motel
(Curtains stay closed/But everyone knows/You hear through the walls in this place)

12. The Bluetones - Vampire
(I thought I had seen it/ I thought I had learned/but there's something around each corner I turn)

13. The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses
(I watched you suffer a dull aching pain/ Now you decided to show me the same)

14. Embrace - My Weakness is None of Your Business
(Don't wanna let you down/ I've been lucky I was lost/ Now I'm found)

15. Massive Attack - Protection
(Sometimes you look so small, need some shelter/Just runnin' round and round, helter skelter)

16.Blur - To the End
(Infatuated only with ourselves/ And neither of us can think straight anymore)

17. Bonus track - Jeff Buckley - Please Send Me Someone to Love
(Heaven please send to all mankind/ Understanding and peace of mind/But, if it's not asking too much/ Please send me someone to love)

* Again, I'd like to thank everybody who sent me new mp3s to play with; I appreciate your generosity greatly! :)**

**ETN: I just threw up Snow Patrol's 'I Could Stay Away Forever (If I Tried)' for [livejournal.com profile] rivkta and anybody else who's interested. This is very much pre-Run stuff. I was informed that there was a 'licensing' issue with this mp3, so I'm going to try and put another link up this evening.

11. Elbow - Fugitive Motel
13. The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses

These are totally on my Remus/Sirius mix. Except I like the Sundays' version of Wild Horses better. I'm a heathen, I know.*g*

Thanks!

I love "Run," but "How to Be Dead" might be my favorite Snow Patrol song. The way he says "Oh my God" after "You've not heard a single word I have said" -- it's so perfect for a fucked-up relationship.

Long before 'Run' was released they sang this jaunty little ditty called, 'I could stay away forever(if I tried)' which was my first introduction to their stuff. There's not much to the song, apart from a repitition of the title, but the way he sings it just -- oh man.

Would you believe that I literally just stuck it up five minutes ago in the body of this post? I know what you want before you ever ask! Ha! I am good.

Word, word, word.

Overall the Snow Patrol album "Final Straw" is a lovely soundtrack to a dysfunctional/fucked-up relationship. That's why it can be very inspiring when writing fic.

Oh how I love RUN... have written many a drabble with that in the background.

I know it isn't late 90's (produced in 2001) but I have always associated "Laid" by James with Neville for some reason.

Hmm. There something funky with I Could Stay Away Forever; apparently it needs a license to play, and the total number of allowed licenses has already been downloaded. Thought you might like to know.

Now that's odd. It's possible that it's already had it's max of downloads though (yousendit only gives you a week or 25 DLs) I will make a new one, just for you though, just gimme a sec.

I'm having a problem with .wma songs. I get directed to download a license. It looks like when you ripped the songs, you ripped them in the protected wma format.
