So, there was like this huge list of unfilled requests for Ocean's 11 for [livejournal.com profile] yuletide and I immediately thought, dude, that’s wrong. So, yeah, I wrote this and posted it as an unfilled request for [livejournal.com profile] lalejandra; it's for [livejournal.com profile] musesfool and [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon too but the script won’t let me put them all on the form like.

Title: Probably Everyone in Cell Block E
Fandom: Ocean’s 11
Pairing: Danny/Rusty; Rusty/Linus; Danny/Tess
Summary: Some people lack vision.
AN: Beta by [livejournal.com profile] lalejandra even though it’s wrong to make her beta something that I wrote for her, I blame [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma for being MIA.

Probably Everyone in Cell Block E

While it will never do this story justice, all I can think is some quote from some silly movie. "Bullshit is in the details."

Nice little sentiment, eh? Danny's good at noticing the details, nevermind that he's a big picture kind of guy.

Dude, these boys are all about the bullshit. Seriously. Also, I really like that quote. I may have to rename my journal, because I am all about the details.

The quote is from Cheats. It's a craptastic movie with some utterly brilliant points, and a lead character by the name of Handsome. I loved the quote so much I ended up taping the whole movie -- it bookends nicely with American Outlaws. *g*

Ohhh, nice! I love the details, like all the grace notes about Rusty's body language and what he tastes like. The running monologue seems very Danny like, working every angle a little too hard.
What is this, good O11 fic week? Keiko Kirin (sp?) wrote this, http://www.livejournal.com/users/keiko_kirin/3260.html, which I am still trying to feedback, but I can't come up with much that's coherent. Copy and paste the link, if you haven't read it, you won't regret it.

That story is killer, I was so impressed, thanks for the recommendation. Also, I'm glad you enjoyed this, thanks for reading :)

Ohh, genius! You write a great Rusty, and, all in all, a great story.

Excellent, as always.

My favourite bits:

-shiny shirts
-Rusty's driving

Danny spins the blueprints in his hands the same way Rusty plays with his food when there's something on his mind

Danny would be lying if he said he saw that coming -- he didn't think Rusty would crack until they got back to the hotel.

All of section VI, especially:

...clearly they're not talking about the same thing. Danny's not reading Rusty's body, because he's too busy he's listening to the words coming out of Rusty's mouth, and Rusty's always been the one to say you're supposed to leave emotion at the door, but his eyes are bright and he's licking his lips and doing that twitching tell, which he swears he doesn't even have.

And Danny -- he's not sure what he is, but the proof is in the con. If Rusty thinks they're in Vegas for Tess, then fine, Danny will go play along. He will go and see his ex-wife, not because he wants to, because now he has to -- but at no time has Danny ever said he was there for Tess.

And sections VIII and IX in particular.

Always! I really love your writing, regardless of fandom. (I really want to watch O11 and O12 again. Again.)

I totally have a soft spot for Ocean's 11 fic. Nice characterizations, and great use of details.

I am so glad I finally had a chance to read this! I have this huge, ridiculous smile on my face by the time I was done. You made me feel guilty for shipping Rusty/Linus! Damn you! I really loved your Danny. He's a manipulative bastard, but he loves Rusty. And the tone of the story was perfect. Hooray! Yay Ocean's 11 fic!

Yay for O11 fic! :D I'm so glad you enjoyed this, and even though I'm all about the Danny/Rusty, I can definitely see the benefits of an OT3. Yis.
