theantimodel for single-handledly ratcheting up my Mr Right Now fandom to new heights of insanity. I was listening under my desk -- I should've taken notes.
There's something brilliant and so excited about coming into a new fandom and learning everything for the first time. It's like that first fuck -- except less call for condoms. Sometimes.
So far this morning I have engaged in converstions about marriage, the creepiness of Christian Bale (so fucking creepy), Coldplay (again, X&Y is shit), Voltron (will they *ever* put this out on DVD? Chrisse) and whether or not there are hot actors who wear glasses*. I state there are. I just can't think of any right now. People help me out here.
*I'd prefer it if they tended to wear them a good percentage of the time, not just in roles, but I am so flexible, it'll make you hurt.
Also, I heard there was some stink in some fandom about some actress posing naked in a magazine. I think if you have it, you should use it. I don't believe God/Allah/Buddha/Jevovah/[insert diety of choice here] meant for us to be prudes -- obviously you don't have to be Britney Spears either, but embrace your sexuality, people.musesfool says it much better, in short though, be proud of yourself, be happy with what you've got. If you don't love yourself, who will?
Randomly, I'm looking for Wheatus' 'Teenage Dirtbag' and Weezer's 'Beverly Hills' (in non mp4 format if you please).

Date: 2005-06-09 02:21 am (UTC)1) Whenever I think of Christian Bale, I think of Velvet Goldmine, and dude. V. v. creepy. >< But for some reason, facial hair seems to lower his level of creepiness. Weird.
2) Coldplay kicks major ass.
3) OMG! I remember Voltron from the far off days of yore, and holy christ, if they ever release that in DVD I may just have to go out and buy it. *dies*
4) I have a firm belief that no man can look bad in glasses (unless the glasses themselves are god-awfully ugly). But then again, I have a thing for geeky-boys, and more often than not they tend to have glasses. So.
Alas, I cannot name any good-looking actors who wear glasses at the moment, although I'm sure many, many/i>, exist.
5) The level of prude-ness (I don't think that's a word) in today's society makes me quite sad.
