Huh? Explain, please? I may grow to like this Newell if he hates children and this particular cast...

He mentioned it in the interview (http://www.darkhorizons.com/news05/050808e.php) he gave a few months ago to some magazine that he thinks children are pretty much the Antichrist. It was very much with the black humour considering he's directing HP.
