Cedric Diggory is a Hufflepuff?! I thought he was a Ravenclaw! I can deal with Ravenclaws; I know plenty of them, but Hufflepuffs? That's like, like, [waves hands around inexplicably], people c'mon. I don't know how to write a Hufflepuff that's not a whinger like Ernie or some lascivious creature like pandarus' Justin. Where's the snark? Where's the eye-rolling and the double entendres? Nuts.

ETA: I have seen the light. I can do this. Theoretically. It's like D-I-Y Cedric!

I'm sure I did, somewhere in my mind. It's not like I didn't read the books several times, but you know, Hufflepuffs are not something Slytherins tend to think about, like ever. Unless we're sleeping with one, then that's okay.
