May all your Beemers break down on the 405 during rush hour!!
It's okay, chickens, what the idiots failed to mention was that KC was going hiatus, like every other FOX show, because they are airing baseball nonsense.

PS. The oddest thing just occurred to me - Jim's actor was in NBC's Freaks & Geeks, a really funny show that also got cancelled. The kid brings bad karma? Haha, doubt it, but just a thought that randomly came to me.

Desperate Housewives Plans a Wedding; Plus, Scoop on Whether Michael Vartan Will Return!
Oct. 3, 2005
This week, a woman of Wisteria Lane heads toward marital bliss (or something like it), while Alias' Vaughn might not be so dead after all. Plus, Prison Break's nuptials aren't what they seem, two Nip/Tuck characters are outed, and the Others on Lost are deadlier than you might think.

Did you ever know that you're my tubers? And everything I wish I could be? I can fly higher than an eagle, and give you the scoop on poor M.V...So, Q me!
From bookworm7: I can't believe Vaughn is dead on Alias! Please tell me he will be back on the show!
As we all know, no one ever really dies on Alias. (How many times did Spy Madre come back from the grave? Hmmm?) So, if there's one show on television where you can sustain multiple rounds of a machine gun to the chest, flatline, have a funeral and still come back, it is, of course, Alias! However, at this point, I cannot tell you if Vaughn is dead for good, because in all honesty, I don't think the producers yet know...and though I've tried to channel my LaToya Jackson psychic side, so far, nothing's coming through.
From mary: Will Vartan come back? Answer us!
Okay, here is what I know: Michael Vartan is definitely no longer a series regular, and when he was written off the show, I don't think there were any plans at that time to bring him back. However, at some point in the past month or so (this is SLIGHTLY SPOILERISH so read only if you want to know), Alias' producers did ask Michael to come back for one to three episodes later in the season. So far as I know he hasn't signed. But if I were a betting girl, I'd put my money--lots of it--on some kind of return at some point for our beloved M.V. So, bottom line: Sit tight.
From Bethany_Young: If there is ever an official, true version of what went on behind Michael Vartan's departure, please let us know. It makes a big difference to us loyal tubers!
I hear you. But sadly, in all honesty, there is no "official" version. All I can tell you is that I have friends/sources who work on all sides of Alias, and here is what they've told me over the past several weeks:
According to Camp Alias (people who actually work on the show), the departure was Michael's doing. He wanted to leave the show to pursue other projects.
According to Camp Vartan (those friendly with M.V.), though, granted, Michael was somewhat miserable last season with all the Garfleck/shooting nude shower scenes with an ex understandable awkwardness, Michael did not choose to leave the show and was told by JJ Abrams that he was being let go for creative reasons, that they weren't sure what else to do with his character.
According to Camp Garner (those friendly with J.G.), Jennifer was actually sad to see M.V. leave (as was the rest of the cast, who I've heard feel it's not the same without him there).
So, all I can tell you is that the "official" truth is probably a little bit of all of the above.
From perseeu: Is Vartan really starring on Kitchen Confidential?
Yes! He shoots this Friday and Monday, playing a French (Oui! Oui!) chef. And by the way, Kitchen Confidential has not been canceled. It's going on hiatus for baseball and a few outlets erroneously reported it was off the schedule for good. Tune into E! News at 7 p.m. on Tuesday to find out about another show Bradley Cooper might show up on...
