It's so far over the boundary of proper taste and decorum that it's clearly not for most people. However, I think that it's also so frakking intelligent and well-written (however heavy-handed on occasion) that if you can appreciate what he's trying to say and do, it's just amazing.

I don't think it can be Matt because it would be inconsistent with his sexual identity crisis over Jean Grey -- the Carver had already raped his first man by that point. I suppose you could create a scenario where Matt as the Carver thinks that the rapes aren't really about his desires, but it seems very odd.

Also, I'm confused why the Carver would leave a semen-filled condom at the kill site if "he" doesn't want anyone else getting credit for his crimes. Unless Kit actually planted it or unless he just planned to punish Christian for a short time, I can't make sense of the idea.

*The reason I didn't put peripheral characters like that in the poll was because in an interview with EW, Ryan said it was a major character of some sort or another. Someone with lots of screen time, and Christian's daddy is all MIA. And wasn't that a seriously fucked up revelation? I mean damn.
