See, but the thing is, I cannot stand Rodney. Really. I loathe him. He's self-righteous, bitchy, prima donna, who needs to be brought down a peg or six. The fandom versions of him I've read show nothing endearing; he's just an ass. serialkarma wrote me a whole explanation when I demanded to know why people like him, and then I realised he must be their version of Draco.

Um, all those bad qualities are what I like. He's not a nice person. He's mean. And has an ego the size of texas. I find my self attracted anyway. It's early conditioning I guess.

I think that Rodney may be the Draco of the fandom, but not in the same way- generally speaking you get into trouble when people start explaining why Draco isn't actually evil. Or a death eater. Or what have you.

With the best of the Rodney stuff, he's just as much of a bitch as he is on the show. Terrible social skills. Very self centered.

Maybe not somebody I would ever want to know in person, but highly enjoyable from a fictional perspective.

It's Sheppard who I don't get. I mean, yeah, the hair is nice. But he's spent the entire time doing a Han Solo impersonation. It grates.
