1) Can we all just agree that I didn't turn on Virgin Radio to hear Nickleback? Egads. [shudders]

b) GIP from [livejournal.com profile] valentinesecret. Awwwwww. *grins stupidly*

3) Jake Gyllenhaal joining Paul Bettany in the new Bat-flick?. Ari and George are SO running Hollywood. Cha-ching!

4) [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma and [livejournal.com profile] kattiya need to come home now. I have no one to tell me what to write. *sighs*

e) I feel that all the people who are discovering Grey's Anatomy like I haven't been talking about it for the last TEN MONTHS (ahem) would really like to read [livejournal.com profile] mimesere's fabulous story Grey's Apocalypse, because I really am that twisted. Plus, George.

f) I like men named George. I realise that.

That Nickleback song is fascinating to me. It's like he sat down and made a diary entry from 7th grade in to a song. And the rhyming! It's so complex! *snort*

Jake Gyllenhaal joining Paul Bettany in the new Bat-flick?

Jake as Dent? *meep* BRING ME THE BRUCE/HARVEY NOW PLEASE! Bettany is an interesting choice for the Joker. He's got the physical lanky thing going for him. And judging from the latest flick with Harrison Ford, he plays psychotic well.

I have no one to tell me what to write.

Don't even get me started! :P

Yeah, that's gonna be a might gay film, really.

Yes, okay, but that's not the same.

Show me something Batman-related that isn't.

*sigh* Always a minion, never a co-conspirator.

Bettany plays psychotic with extraordinary flair. Watch him in Gangster No. 1, this British film (with David Thewliss!) about gangsters in the 1960s and be amazed.

That's exactly what I said below. He can be extraordinarily creepy when he wants to be. That movie totally scarred me ;)

oh WOW, my gay boyfriend and my husband in Batman! What you are hearing is the sound of me SWOONING.

I was just wondering yesterday how you were getting on without SK. I feel her absence like a gaping chest wound!!

I'll play along. I couldn't possibly have heard that on my radio. Nope. Not a chance.

Between that and the image of Paris Hilton making out with Val Kilmer? I'd like to start over.

I didn't know who Paul Bettany was at first and then I realized that he was that guy who I loved in Master and Commander, so yay!

Though Donnie Darko in Batman kind of makes my brain hurt.

Paul Bettany is just -- *sighs*. I can't even formulate a proper sentence, but let me tell you he can be a scary ass mofo.

Paul Bettany as the Joker? I have no idea what to think of that.

I'm sure there is a long line of people willing to tell you what to write LOL

He did a film called Gangster No. 1, which Kassie and Circe as huge fans of. Crazy as fuck. I'm talking Bat-shit crazy no doubt.

MSP! MSP!

Do you have a preference for early MSP or their later material, or neither?

SK's a drug and we are all addicted to her. She would be so proud! *snerk*

I prefer later MSP, but only a certain segment of later, i.e. This is My Truth, but like, nothing else.

Cool. So I'm still the only person I know that prefers the early stuff. Which, when you consider it, is not really at all surprising. :)

I think it's the Richie thing, it's just a bit twisted, innit? I suppose I just prefer Nicky.

The words 'Jake Gyllenhaal' are in this post and you still don't know what to write about??

... the boy is very pretty, you know.

*cocks head to the side* You do know that I don't actually *like* Jake Gyllenhaal, right? I'm guessing you didn't? [livejournal.com profile] serialkarma and [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon are HUGE fans, so the Incredibly True Adventures... were for them, but he does nothing for me. I'd much rather look at Ryan Gosling or the men from BSG.

o_O. It boggles the mind, it surely does.

I've been pro-Ryan since Remember The Titans, and then he did Stay with Ewan and it was like Christmas in July. Good times.

Have you ever seen him in The Believer or The Slaughter Rule? TSR is the one that did me in. I wrote him a whole novel based on that (Telegraph Avenue). :)

Yep, The Believer and The Slaughter Rule. I can't say I really enjoyed the latter, though I was probably not in the right frame of mind when I watched it. It's not an 'easy' watch.

And I've read Telegraph Avenue, too. I've been pro-[livejournal.com profile] hackthis before I knew how to html ;) I think in some really unrelated way, you and Ryan Gosling have something in common.

Whoah.

Man, if it weren't for the Superbowl, I wouldn't have discovered Grey's Anatomy at all, despite the glowing recommendations of my flist. Because I don't watch television.

Guess that's gonna change.

I am so guilty of the late GA discovery. But now! I can't stop! I'm like... George! and Bailey! (dude, omg, all the male docs seeing Doc Shep examine her cervix? hee!)

Sounds to me more like fangirls are now running Hollywood...

Hee. More fuel for the fire, copy-and-pasted from Salon.com:

Money Quotes:
Roseanne Barr on the antics she once got up to with George Clooney, who played her boss Booker Brooks on the first season of "Roseanne": "One night we were all drunk, John Goodman took a picture of George naked with Groucho Marx glasses over his private area and we used to have that on the fridge on the 'Roseanne' show with a magnet on top of it. But someone stole it. I always check to see if it's on eBay, all of us do, but somebody must have just thrown it away because it's never shown up." (Entertainmentwise.com)
