Date: 2006-04-03 09:52 pm (UTC)*That totally sounds like a tribe of some sort. The Yayari are a small, tightly wound group of people with zero morals. They tend to curse profusely, drink to excess, insult everyone, and will stab you in the neck if you look at their clients the wrong way. They are, however, loyal and tremendously amazing. In that car-wreck sort of way. Also, never say the word 'George' around the Yayari, as apparently 'George' is the spouse of the Yayari god, Ari, and mentioning George can illicit any number of responses from love to a knife to the throat.
