As for the celebrity worship angle, it's interesting to me in that whole car-wreck type of way. I do admit to being truly amused by the horror of people being famous for fuck-all, because really, if the people who deserved the fame actually got it, we'd all be writing Noble Prize-winners slash. Sadly that's not how society works. That being said, I do like George Clooney's material, and a lot of the time I find what he has to say amusing, but I tend to prefer mockery to worship. I don't worship anyone. Except maybe Ari, but he's fictional, so that's with a grain or ten or salt.
