Holy shit about Lonelygirl. I watched those out of boredom one day. I did think it was highly highly highly suspect she filmed her "conversations" with Daniel and the whole argument. I don't care who you are, nobody films and then shares arguments with their friends to the whole world, not even out of spite.

Now my question is - who played Daniel? And liek omg, will Bree and him end up together?+1+1

I sat down over the weekend and watched all of the lonelygirl vids because the whole thing was blowing up all over the place and it was clear that it was a scripted "series" but it was amusing and the actress is so charming that I hope she manages to get some work after this. Of course the construct of a beautiful young girl who hardly ever leaves her house and is best friends with a geeky guy is a total fantasy.

I just watched one of the lonelygirl vids, and apart from the cute confessional actress, how could people think it was real? It has a soundtrack, for God's sake, and speeded up bits.

I think it's the typical plonky way that film-makers respond to the net. 'Ooh! We'll do a diary!' when the whole appeal of this kind of thing on the net is the real stories and blogs.
