I was going to put a mini-post here about the realization I had this afternoon about how life is awesome, and how you really have to like yourself no matter what anybody else thinks, because you are what's important. You have to always take care of you etcetera etcetera, but um, then I got hold of scribblinlenore's most awesome story for the undermistletoe: 101 Ways To Get Lucky (In Love), which is Stargate: Atlantis and so stupidly amazing that I just kind of flailed. It's an AU where John is a relationship coach and Rodney is well, Rodney, but as a company CEO, but that's all window dressing for Lenore's sublime wit and wisdom. Even if you don't like SGA I think you'll really enjoy this, I mean it's got pearls of wisdom like this:.

Hey, does anybody have any K's Choice? I'm trying to figure out if all her their stuff is as awesome as 'Not An Addict' and 'Everything for Free.' ETA: Y'all are AWESOME. Please, Lord, can we try to erase all the damage 'awesome' has done to my lexicon over the last three weeks? It's taken over my brain.

Hee, I just read that story. It does indeed rock (somuchomg!).

K's Choice are pretty good. One of the only good Belgian bands, really. Have another song of theirs.

Um, I'm taking all the music in this post, that's really why I'm commenting. Also, I was all, "Today, I'll write my yuletide story, but first I'll check my flist." Mistake. Saw this rec and clicked and it was all downhill motivation-wise from there.
