That's blackmail. Also, I have conflicted Chuck feelings, because hello, attempted rapist. Bad Chuck! No cookie! I know you are repressing your Nate-love by trying to pretend you are straight, but that icon is totally not fooling anyone. *makes face*

Chuck doesn't need people to like him. He doesn't even really want people to like him. He thinks he'd rathered be feared and respected. Although, he'll take fear if he can't get respect. He's not a bad guy, he just wants what he wants when he wants it. And for the longest time he's always gotten it. It's never really occurred to him that he has to work for things. He's never had to work for Nate; Nate's always been his. Chuck's rather magnanimously shared him with Blair for quite some time, but that time is over. Clearly all this beneficence has confused Chuck's mind, and that's why he thought he wanted Blair. He doesn't want Blair. He wants Nate. Going to Monaco isn't running away, it's a power play. Chuck doesn't doubt for a second that Nate will come to him; Chuck knows who Nate loves best.

I am about to argue away the rape thing, but I will stop because I don't need your minions coming behind and reading this and everything ending up on metafandom or something. Needless to say, I can explain that in a way I find, if not 100% hearts and flowers and blue boxes, at least in line w/ the rest of their world. (Some people really never have heard no before, for starters.)

Um, dude, you used the Nate&Chuck on holiday icon, try again. Also, we are not going near the explain-away rape thing, we clearly see it differently and I'm trying to keep myself Zen today.
