P.S. the dialogue on that show is so real it blows my mind. I have a friend from high school who did Kosovo, Afganistan, then Iraq in the Army + another friend who joined the Marines and did Iraq -- and I could totally and completing hear them in my head saying a lot of this stuff. Especially Ray's rants -- 100% sounds like my J, the Marine. Strange but true. [Even stranger, he was a laid back, long haired Grateful Dead fan before the Marines. Made him insanely lewd, completely random, dangerously alcoholic, and entertaingly psycho. plus, v. v. prone to homoeroticism. It's like bloodthirsty, gay cult!]
