a) I got the alert from Variety and really thought it was fucking with me. And then I got your email. And then there was the release from Turner and I knew. I FUCKING KNEW!

b) January is okay. Why? Because we get TEN EPISODES. TEN!. So far we've had two season for a total of 13 episdoes. Fucking hell, 10 episodes is like two whole seasons practically. :D

I admit it, I lurk. I found your journal a few years ago while I was studying abroad in ghana, and I come back to it randomly for the amazing recs posts and your amazing fic. One of thpse recs posts talked about the bbc's modern adaptation of sherlock holmes, so I had to check it out, and it stole my soul. I went back a bit (a lot) and found out about this amazing, gritty tv portrayal of marines in iraq, and i had to check it out, and it stole my soul. I went back a bit more and you were discussing this cop drama set in LA, and I figured since you were right about Sherlock and Generation Kill I should add the first disc of this Southland thing to my netflix queue. AND IT STOLE MY SOUL! Plus you write absolutely beautiful fic for all of this, and really this is just some stranger telling you that you have amazing taste in television in a really inarticulate way, but Thank You for sharing.
