There have been 4,387 fatalities since the start of OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom).

While, 1,075 servicemen and woman have died in Operation Enduring Freedom.

36,757 of your countrymen have been injured mentally and physically in their service to the United States.

Every day we think of you and are grateful for all you have sacrificed for this country and not just on this Memorial Day. (link provided by maurheti)

To anyone who has lost someone who has served: I am so very sorry for your loss.

To everyone who has served, or is serving now, to everyone who loves someone who is serving, or has served, who has supported a serviceman or woman emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially or just by thinking well of them and wishing them your best

thank you... on behalf of my husband, who has been through his own personal hell and back, and on behalf of the families left behind, who in many ways have it harder.
