Ladies and Gentlemen, please hold on to your ovaries and gonads. They may try to escape you. Now for the record, I am not a Gaga fan, but this fucking song incepted me. And now, well, apparently it incepted Joe, too

I present for your enjoyment: Joseph Gordon-Levitt covering 'Bad Romance.'

And you thought the singing in French was going to cause cardiac arrest. HA! Put your head between your knees and breathe.

Where do I go to see him live? My love for this man's complete insanity is approaching scary levels.

I am about a week away from voluntarily hanging out at Williamsburg hipster gigs. I am two weeks away from ironing his face on... (YOU THINK I MEAN ON A T-SHIRT, don't you?)

I am monitoring this for academic purposes. Earlier today, this video had 300 views.

This is fandom. See fandom run.

Ha!!!

I am very close to finding episodes of Third Rock from the Sun to download, so I can enjoy adorable baby JGL.

I am also considering JGL/Misha Collins RPS. It would be the most beautiful orgy of awesome insanity ever.

One of the first things I thought about upon encountering the explosion of Inception fandom on my f-list (for several reasons, I was spectacularly late to the party, by this insanity's standards) was Third Rock. And, well, okay. Angels in the Outfield, which I owned on VHS as a kid. But then [livejournal.com profile] nicolasechs suggested that this made me the creepiest creepster that ever crept, and now I feel self-conscious about it, [livejournal.com profile] sparky77. SELF-CONSCIOUS.

But not self-conscious enough to not want there to be fiction where everyone gets high ("I loved to smoke weed in high school. No, really. I loved it") and, you know, slaughters ponies in basements because they're trying to escape the Queen of England.

Also, there is romance. In the form of French serenade.

Y/Y?

I have consulted my very dusty and hardly ever opened Fandom Morals for Dummies and have the book says that you have absolutely nothing to feel self conscious about because baby JGL was adorable and hilarious and Third Rock (at least for the first few seasons) was brilliant. So therefore I declare that you are not remotely completely and [livejournal.com profile] nicolasechs is wrong, wrong, wrong for she does not have a copy of Fandom Morals for Dummies because I happen to have the only one!

Also, I support your ideas and/or newsletter 110 percent.

I lost my copy, okay! Possibly when [livejournal.com profile] syllic and I were planning to flash our boobs to get backstage or wherever after one of JGL's gigs.

Boob flashing is totally okay when I declare it "official flash your boobs at adorable actors who occasionally sing covers of Lady Gaga day!" It's Rule number 745 subsection C.

...I have now consulted the aforementioned conversation about creepsterdom and realise [livejournal.com profile] nicolasechs was the one who defended me (us) from my accusations of creepsterdom re: young alien boys in human disguise.

Oh my gosh, [livejournal.com profile] syllic, why so much internalised hatred?

I feel like RegularJOE (hahaha jesus fucking christ) would not react well to boob-flashing. Is there a subsection of a rule that allows you to make videos of you singing a cover of him singing a cover of Brel and trying to gain access via his horrible website without shame?

Is there boob flashing in this cover?

...possibly?

You're invited too, Grumpy.

The rule book now says: All signs point to yes! (sometimes it thinks it's a magic eight ball and you just have to hit it a couple of times to get the answer you want)

ARGH I am finally watching this video (previously I was surrounded by other individuals; I am now ensconced on a sofa in a dark room in a wooden cabin, with the wind howling outside and my headphones in like--oh, wait, is that you, creepster creeper?).

Why does he dimple in the middle of this song? WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO DO THAT TO MY STOMACH AND GENERAL TINGLY AREAS, RegularJOE?

Rulebooks that you can shake vigorously are the best rulebooks.

(Also: [livejournal.com profile] hackthis, my mother always said not to go to other people's houses without chocolate or wine. I apologise for sucking in this regard.)

You came in with [livejournal.com profile] sparky77, so you are okay. No worries there. Her on the other hand... we're going to have to step outside.
